Miss Pale : What's wrong?

Paul : I placed a request at the University.

Miss Pale : What for?

Paul : As you know that you're sick. I spoke to the professor and he agreed that I can come home, so that I can take care of you and I will go to school every day in the morning from here.

Paul : That's not what mom thinks.

Mr Khumalo : What do you mean?

Paul : She thinks that I should go back She said that she can take care of herself.

Mr Khumalo : And you don't think that she is capable.

Paul : Not that I don't think she can. But I'm worried about her.

Mr Khumalo : You don't have to worry about her. I'll keep an eye out for her and make sure she is fine. Focus on your studies.

Paul : Ok I will leave in the morning.

Mr Khumalo : I will drive you.

Paul : Thank you Sir.

Miss Pale : I'll be in my bedroom, taking a kip.

Paul : Mom.

Miss Pale : {LOOKS BACK.}

Paul : I just spoke with Mr Khumalo.

Miss Pale : About what?

Paul : About you.

Miss Pale : What for?

Paul : He said that he will keep an eye on you while I'm away, incase you get worse and you are unable to take yourself to the hospital. And that you don't have to go out to do groceries. So you can just make a list of all the things you need. He will go buy it for you, or drive you to the stores.

Miss Pale : {LOOKS SAD.}

Paul : You don't have to say anything. It's the least I can do to make sure you're fine and safe.

Miss Pale : {SIGHS.}

Paul : Go to sleep now.
