I patiently sit there waiting for him to come out and woila, his door opened and one step out of his room, he slipped on the peal
" Hahahahhaha hahaha oh my worddd ahahaha hollyyyy" I couldn't stop laughing when I looked over at him but when his eyes met mine I felt shivers down my spine for some odd reason
"Im guessing this was you" he asked and instead of replying I just turned the tv on but my attention was still on him as I felt him walking to the kitchen.
"Do you want pasta or anything to eat"he called from the kitchen
"No thanks and I would suggest getting your ass out of the kitchen because I just cleaned it" I screamed from the couch but I heard his giggles like god damn is she a child or something like fuck
A few minutes later I felt the couch drop beside me making him look, there he was with a plate in his hand.
"Do you want a bite" he asked forwarding the sandwich to me and I just shook my head putting my attention to the tv. There was a comfortable silence in the room which was weird becasue I have only known this man for about maybe two hours but I am not uncomfortable ah fuck no Nandini dont even think about it at all.
We were watching tv when his phone rang making me groan in irritation.
"Ya she is why, oh okay" he replied on the phone and handed me his phone making me raise an eyebrow
"Its cabir" he said as his eyes shifted back to the tv as he took a bite of his sandwich
"Why the heck are you calling me on this douchbag's phone" I said clearly being annoyed but he just chuckled on the phone
"You aren't picking up your phone and I wanted to ask you if you are cooking or if I should bring dinner" he asked even though he knew my answer
"Chinese please and whatever you guys want oh and chocolate lava cake plus coke" I said licking my lips ahh i love food so much like food is life man
He cut the call after hearing my order and I just looked at this douchbag whose focus was still on my show. I threw his phone back to him as it hit his bicep making him caress his bicep grabbing his phone putting it beside him in between us. His eyes travelled back to the tv biting his sandwich confusing me, does he not get hurt or annoyed eh whatever who cares.
I shook my thoughts pulling my feet in watching tv when my door opened making me curse at cabir because he is the only one with the keys well not to forget mr douchbag has them too now.
"What the fuck bhai, Maine kiti bar bola hai please knock and don't just use the keys" I said pissed and cabir just laughed at me
"Nandini doll take a chill pill will you please" he said rubbing my hair and putting the food on the table when I saw navy walking in and my face lit up seeing her
"Navu I missed you so much, you know this husband of yours will drive me insane one day" I complained while she just smiled walking to me and kissing my cheek as she sat beside me.
"He is crazy I know but you missy have been very jumpy and defensive I heard whats wrong" she asked knowing very well something is wrong but how do I tell her without letting mr doucebag know that I dont want him here. I could just say it but I can't risk bhai getting upset
"Nothing just pmsing maybe" I lied and saw mr doucebag and Bhai's eyes widen as if they have never heard it before
"What, have you guys not heard of pmsping" I glared at the two of them making them shut their mouths and look away as I smiled at my achievement
"I know its not pmsing but its fine, lets go in your room and talk" navya said and I nodded knowing I cant just hide it forever and maybe navya will understand. So the two of us walked in my room and I close the door behind me as I heard the two boys talking
"Whats wrong doll" she asked again and I sighed sitting beside her laying my head in her lap
"Navu I dont want him here please tu samaj na, tu jante hai last time jab esa Hua tha toh mai tut gayi thi aur mai nahi chati tutna" I tried explaining without actually saying anything and she understood it I know she did becasue she caressed my hair
"Nandini, sahil was an asshole and you know that. Manik isn't sahil nandini and do you really think cabir and I would let a random guy stay with you if he was wrong" she was right but my heart was just not ready to accept it or maybe my head was somewhere else
"Mujhsai ni höga navya agar is bar kuch hua toh mujhsai ni hoga" I whispered and I could feel tears but pushing them back I just closed my eyes as navya's hands were caressing my hair. I could feel myself falling a sleep as my mind and heart stopped arguing.
Manik's pov
goshh I cant believe I have to share a house with a girl that too cabir's sister its awkward man and I wish I didn't have to but I have nowhere to go all I have in my life is cabir and navya. I wish I didnt have to but I have no choice.
"Cabir are you sure she would be okay with these papers because sharing the apartment is one thing but legally owning the appartment with her is a different thing" I tried but knowing cabir he will make sure I sign these papers
"Dude stop being a weirdo its your fucking house and you know it so its fine and nandini dont worry about her at all okay, ya she is a feisty one but her heart is pure like yours Manik: he explained which was easy to understand but I still didnt know why he wouldn't just let me stay in a hotel I mean I could afford it but he insisted
"I can stay in a hotel cabir" I tried again but as always he cursed at me and cut the call. He is such a difficult human but I love him so much, he is a brother for me, my brother from another mother.
I grabbed the rest of my stuff and took a taxi to the address he gave me. Once I reached there I saw him waiting leaning on his car. He gave me a hug and grabbed my suitcase
"Im so glad you are home manik, I have missed you a lot" he said grabbing my arm getting in the elevator
"I missed you too dont be so senti yar aur yeh Teri bhen mujhai Maregi toh ni na" I asked being scared cause his sister ahh I cant remember her name but I have heard stories and I do not wanna get beaten up at all
"Honestly she might" he said but bursted out laughing making me laugh.
We get to the door and cabir gave me the keys, my own set of keys and said to go ahead cause navya called. I walk in and was welcomed with a water bottle that hit my head making me since in pain even thought it didnt hurt it was unexpected.
She yelled at me and all I could do was stare at her, she is beautiful, gorgeous, hot, sexy jeez I cant describe her in one adjective holly she is angelic. I could tell her heart skipped a beat but so did mine for unknown reasons. She was yelling at cabir and all I could focus on was her eyes, they are so expressive even though she masks it well.
Cabir left and i said hi to her but damn she got so pissed at me so I apologized for having to intrude her privacy and went to my room. The bed sheets were fresh making me smile so I start putting my clothes in the closet when my stomach growled so I decided to go grab some food, I opened the door and baammm I fell on my ass. I heard her laughing like a baby yes like a baby making me look at her. I knew it was her but I still asked and she didnt reply.
I made my way to the kitchen and found bread and some random sauces and things so I asked if she wanted some but she said no. I sat beside her and started eating while watching whatever crap she was watching. I loved how there was a comfortable silence in the room even though she hated my guts. We were watching tv when my phone rang making her groan in irritation, it was cabir asking to talk to her cause her phone wasn't available. Once she was done talking to him she threw the phone at me.
The best part was her yelling at cabir when he came in using his keys, I could tell there was something wrong when navya asked her and she said she is pmsing making cabir and I shocked cause she is damn bold and straight forward. Navya took her inside
