I looked at him and as soon as our eyes met we bursted out laughing. I look at him laughing, his laugh is contagious, I love his laugh. "Always smile and laugh like this cowboy" I said and he looked at me
"Thank you baby girl, it means a lot to me, I'm sorry you had to deal with this" he said looking down and I sighed, I hopped over the gear and sat on his lap but my side was right on the wheel.
"Can you shift your seat back, ahh im gonna have a freaking bruise on my side in the shape of a wheel then people will think im having car sex which honestly would be fine but its false so now please" I blabbered and he moved his seat back a little giving me some room to wiggle.
"Now, where was I" I said and his eyes were locked with mine. "Dont stare at me like that you'll fall in love" I said giggling
"Manik, if you keep being sad then I have to keep getting on your lap and kissing you and things which I dont mind you know but if people look. In from the window they would think something else" I said and he frowned
"Dont frown at me cowboy" I said and he leaned closer to my face making me shut my eyes
"Nanu baby the game you are playing here is dangerous" he said and I shivered in his lap
"Manikkk please na, focus focus I wanna have a conversation with you" I said tapping his cheek and he nodded
"Im sorry, I just hate her I wouldn't have brought you with me but you are a stubborn child so I had to bring you. Nandini this isn't new, this happens every few months and its usually worse she yells and screams until I give her a check and once she gets one she leaves just like today" he said and I felt horrible for him
"Well not like today" I said smirking, "well you gave it to her right which is why she left" he said
"Umm no I wrote FUCK OFF CRAZY BITCH in big bold letter all over the check and scratched all the spaces she could fill so she didnt get anything which is why I told you to run" I said and he laughed nudging my nose with his
"Nandini I swear to god, I have never met a woman like you" he smiled and ahh if I wasn't already falling for him I would right now
"You are okay right" I asked and he nodded "as long as you are near me then we are good, you make everything better" he put his head on my shoulder.
"Well that's true I am perfect I know" I said praising myself smiling and he for the first time kissed my shoulder, my bare shoulder because of the jumpsuit. There were goosebumps everywhere, I closed my eyes feeling him drop a few more kisses on my shoulder and I clutched his shirt.
"I L bomb you Nandini I really do its way too fucking early but fuckk I have never felt so sure about anything in my life before ever and I am so sure about you" he whispered in my ear and I knew what he meant but I agree its early
"Really " I asked and he pulled his face out of my shoulder looking in my eyes
"Fuckkk nandini you make me so happy baby girl" he said and I couldn't help myself from kissing his jaw ahh and I wanted it to be his lips I kiss but I just need some more time
"The feelings are mutual mr malhotra now if you are okay, then we should go home then we can watch that movie" I said and he nodded.
His hands travelled down my back as he caressed my back, continued caressing my back while my hands were behind his neck. We stayed like that for a few minutes when I kissed his forehead and he rubbed his nose against my cheek
"Cowboy we need to go, its been awhile" I said and he frowned but nodded
I moved back to my seat putting on my seatbelt, I looked at manik who was smirking and I wasn't sure why. "Why are you smirking like that" I asked and he just shook his head and started the car putting on his belt. I frowned not knowing what he is smirking about and then it hit me, my ass was literally in his face when I moved back to my seat
"You are an asshole" I said slapping his arm and he laughed, "it was a wonderful view baby" he said and I blushed "aww baby you are blushing ahh this is so cute" he smiled grabbing my hand in his
We get home and I hated how messy my room so that was something I had to take care of first. I walked to manik's room to tell him and he was shirtless making me wonder where the scar was.
"Hi cowboy", "hi baby girl" his endearments always makes me smile
"I have to clean my room so movie in umm an hour or so" I said and he nodded "okay, ill be there in a bit" he said and I nodded walking to my room because I knew he needed space to think.
I knock my heels off and fold all the clothes putting them in the closet, I also found manik's shirts which I bought for him so I put them in my closet too and hopped in the shower. I came out wearing shorts and a crop tee, to see manik laying on my bed on his phone.
"Hi handsome, what are you doing" I asked hoping on the bed beside his and he pulled me close still laying down, "nothing much, I was just looking at some sketches" he said
"Manik, dont push yourself into work maybe process things a bit even if you dont want to" I said and he turned his phone facing me still laying on his stomach.
"Lets put on your stupid movie" he said and I guess he still wasn't ready to talk so I put on yeh jawani hai Diwani but paused it, "move your arm ill grab her some food I hope you are okay with leftovers we have pizza and fried rice" I asked and he nodded so I went to the kitchen and grabbed our warmed food, coke, chips and other things that we will need.
I saw manik with closed eyes so I put the food on the side table and shut my door, "food first or later" I asked starting and thankfully he said now
We ate food really quick cause it was 6 in the evening and none of us had any food since the morning, we ate in silence and I take the dishes back and washed them, I checked the lock and turned the lights off in the kitchen and living room.
I close my door and brushed then got on the bed beside manik who was on his phone, "ready" I asked and he nodded slipping down a little beside me. I turned the movie on and manik moved a lot in the first 5 minutes so I stopped the movie making him look at me
"Get comfortable first" I said and he moved putting his head on my shoulder and I started the movie again, a few minutes passed and he moved his head down to my stomach. I was caressing his hair, my focus was on manik not the movie.
