"I am 102 pounds okay so dont say that and I am not skinny dont lie to me, see my cheeks are so puffy" she said and I shook my head at her

"Nandini you are in my bathroom" "ya so what, you aren't naked" she fired back yanking my arm as I dry my face

"Baby I could have been naked then what" I said walking out to the kitchen along with her "well nothing, dont be so ashamed, im sure you look great naked too now im hungry what do want to eat" she says things so easily which hassles me a little, if she is like this when im her friend how will she be when we are married or dating. Ya I thought about it and I wouldn't wanna date anyone other than her

"You need to watch that mouth of your pretty girl" I said trying to see what we can eat

"Or else what" she said and of course she says that, "or else nothing, what do you wanna eat' I asked and she made a whole bunch of faces. I swear if I was dating her I would kiss her right there and then.

"You sit, im making chicken fried rice" she said and I sat on the counter where she usually sits, "do you know how to' I asked and she looked offended

"Of course I know how to you idiot why would you even say that" she grabbed the veggies and started to boil the rice and stuff.

"Lets play 20 questions but infinity questions" she said and I nodded "you start" I said and boy was she quick

"When was the last time you had sex" I literally chocked on thin air, I will never get used to her boldness, "umm" I didnt know what to say well I could just tell her im a virgin

"Its fine dont worry I got it, you are a virgin" she said, "nandini 20 questions arent this bold" "with me they are, now your turn" she said

"Whats your favourite flower" I asked becasue I need to know, "blue roses which is ironic cause I have never seen one in real life" she says and I smiled knowing I can arrange that

"How many girlfriends have you had" "one but it wasn't even serious so id say none" I replied and she made a face

"What would be an ideal date for you" I asked and she shrugged her shoulders "I dont know, I feel like it doesnt matter as long as I feel comfortable and I am laughing its ideal" her answer made my heart swell at how simple she is

"Who is your worst enemy or someone you might not like or hate" she asked and I felt like walking away becasue I dont wanna answer it so I just stayed quiet as the memories played back in my head.

She was waiting for my answer, I could feel her gaze on me, she looked at the rice and realizing its gonna take a bit more time she walked to me and stood in-between my legs leaning on me a little as her arms rested on my thighs

"Sometimes its good to let it out and other times its good to let go of such memories even if its something you can't forget" she said and I wasn't able to comprehend her words becasue only the memories played in my head

"Look at me" she said lifting my chin up making me look in her eyes, "its hard I know, I mean look at me I went through shit but you said you'll be here to protect me right" I nodded and she leaned in a little "then ill be here to protect you and hey I might be tiny but boy I could beat a bitch" she said pecking my chin moving away to continue cooking

"Its nyonika" I said closing my eyes and she nodded "ex girlfriend" "mother" I said and she nodded without being shocked or reacting much to it

"Your turn" "umm your favourite place to travel" " anywhere that has fresh air and nature" she smiled wrapping her arms around herself

"And the food it ready" she served it in one plate and made a little smiley face on the side of the plate with ketchup, "lets go my lord, dinner is served for you my precious boy" she said giggling making me laugh

"Why thank you my queen" I said bowing in front of her and grabbing the plate.

We ate in silence well I was silent, nandini was yelling and screaming at the tv show. I washed the dishes while her focus was on the tv, her phone buzzed in my pocket and knowing it was probably sahil I didnt even look at it cause I didnt wanna ruin our mood.

"Manik" she called from the living room and I walked to her, "ya" "will you go on a date with me" she said and my eyes widened "umm" "see it wasn't that fucking hard but this chick cant even do it" she crossed her arms against her chest turning back to the show and I sighed cause its early going on an official date cause we have had unofficial ones, we eat together cook together and stuff.

"I wouldn't actually mine going on a date just fyi" I said teasing and she put her head on my arm "id like that" she said still watching tv

"Nandini are you okay" I asked not really sure whats up with her and she nodded but I wasn't convinced.

"Out with it baby" I said and she huffed "Im sleepy" she said and I wasn't sure why she sounded low because she is sleepy "so why do you sound so low" "im not, I just want proper sleep I am exhausted but every time I close my eyes those memories come up again" she said

"How about ill stay in your room until you sleep and I have things to discuss with you anyways" I said and she nodded so I closed the tv and grabbed her by her waist walking to her room but she had clothes all over her bed so I just took her to my room.

I put her on the bed and close the lights of the living room and her room, coming back into my room and dimmed the lights. Nandini made herself comfortable under my blankets, she moved a little making room for me as I sit on the bed
