Valentine's POV
Today is the day. Well, not my day. But still the day of someone. Or more. Okay, the day of Colussey's wedding. I was really exited, even though it wasn't my wedding. It'll probably take some time until I'll marry. But anyway. I was making myself ready in the bathroom. Putting some eyeliner and mascara on my eyes and was curling my hair. I was already wearing my dress, but I didn't put on my shoes yet. I just gonna put them on when Jack is here to pick me up. I don't want that my feet are dying more than they already had to. Such shoes really should be forbidden! They look beautiful but hurt like hell! I bet I already said it thousands of times, didn't I? Well, anyway. I put this hair-bow in my hair and checked my face for the last time in the mirror before I went down to kill my feet with the shoes. Ian was downstairs and searched something in the fridge. When he heard that I came down, he looked at me and wided his eyes. "Damn, Val" he said and nodded because he was really impressed. "Uh, thanks?" I said and smiled. I walked to the couch and sat down. The shoes were on the table. Those are my enemies. I looked at them evil for a long time until Ian sat next to me and looked confused at me. "What are you doing?" he asked. "Maybe when I'm staring long enough at those shoes, they'll hurt less" I explained still looking at the shoes. He shook his head and left. I smirked when he left and then took the shoes. "You're going to be on my feet for hours now. If you don't act stupid, I'm neither gonna act stupid, deal?" I said to the shoes. I took the silence as a 'yes'. I looked at the clock, it was time for Jack to pick me up. Or better, time for me to put these shoes on. I put them on my feet and carefully stood up. I didn't fall over! Be proud of me! I could walk without swinging, so I walked to the stairs. "Ian! Jack is gonna be here anytime!" I yelled upstairs. "Okay, have fun!" he yelled back. I smiled and walked to the couch, where everything was. Just when I grabbed my clutch, I heard the door bell ring. 'That must be Jack' I thought and went to the door. I opened it, and as soon as Jack saw me, his jaw dropped. "Holy fucking shit. Val, you look fucking hot" he complimented, still looking up and down on me. I blushed, like really hard. Oh, do I have to mention the butterflies in my stomach? "Thank you" I said and looked down on the floor. He was still looking at my body but then shook his head to think clear again. "Okay, let's go" he said and turned around. I followed him to his car and sat in the seat while Jack was already sitting in the driver's seat. "You sure you can drive?" I joked when he started the motor. Like you probably already know is Jack not the best driver. "Shhh, I'll never let a lady drive when she's that hot, even if I have to die" he said while pulling out the driveway. I laughed and then smiled at him. I didn't really look at his clothes until now. He was wearing a black suit, white shirt, black tie and black shoes. I have to admit that he looked hot indeed. I think this is the first time he wasn't wearing any skinny jeans. But it still looked good on him. "Where are you staring at? My dick?" he asked without looking away from the street. Normally I would have a good answer in my mind, but now, nothing. His hotness was distracting me. I damn you, hotness! I just blushed once more before looking at my hands awkwardly. Jack risked a look at me, because he was kinda surprised that I didn't answer. To break the silence, Jack turned on the cd-player and 'Up All Night' by Blink-182 blasted through the small speakers. "Mh, I LOVE that song!" I yelled to Jack and began to sing along, of course trying to imitate Tom Delonge's accent. Jack smiled and seemed to be glad that I was 'me' again. Just when the song finished, we reached the church and he parked his car in a parking lot. We both got out of the car and walked in the church. Most of the people were already here and sitting in their reserved seats. "Here they are!" I heard Alex say in front of us. Alex, Zack and Rian walked to us and hugged us. Rian was with Cass here and Zack with Sandy. Alex brought a blond girl which was like my height. So she wasn't really tall. Alex introduced her me as Lisa. I've heard of her... "Val, you can walk on those shoes?" Rian joked and pointed at my shoes. I punched his arm while the others laughed. "It's all because of your girlfriend" I said and Cass smiled at Rian. "Uh, I think we need to go our seats..." Alex said when we were the only ones that were standing yet. We nodded in agreement and sat on the seats which were left. I was (of course) sitting next to Jack and Cass. Cass kept looking at me and Jack the whole time. But of course she did it that only I could notice it and Jack not. What kinda surprised me was, that Jack suddenly put his hand on my thigh. I first looked at his hand and then up to him, to see him smirking at me. I didn't mind that. If I'm honest, I actually enjoyed this physical contact. When Colussey's future wife Kate walked in, with her beautiful white dress which lightly touched the floor, everyone stood up. So Jack's hand wasn't on my thigh for this moment. But as soon as Kate reached the end of the altar and her father delivered [I'm sorry for this word. but I couldn't translate the German word, I wanted to use, in English :S] her to Colussey, we sat down and I felt his hand on my thigh again. I could see from the corner of my eye, that Cass was smiling at me, when she noticed that. The ceremony was really cute and I could see in Colussey's and Kate's eyes, that they're really in love.
