longing to hear from you every moment
all the way to our reconnection
turns to
calling you every second every day
twin flame declarations
to my confession and your reciprocation
promises of marriage
silent giggles from late night phone calls
intoxicated by the sight of you, i'll never let you go
think about you every quiet morning all the way to my lonely nights
these flowers don't tend to flourish when they've been overwatered so soon
how long would the spark remain until it fizzles out?
you'd be out the door again
and i'd wait for you to come back like you did so many times before
but you won't
i know no matter what i do love will never be enough
