I had another dream, but this one was different. I asked if you wanted to hang out with me, you said yes. We went to a cafe and talked for a while. We then walked on the beach. I mustered up enough courage and asked if you wanted to be my boyfriend.
     
     You seem so surprised but then you kissed me. Your lips were soft and tasted like cherry. I was so happy, I had finally did it. We decided to call it a day and head back home.

The car was Filled with silence, not awkward silence but comfortable silence.

I remember taking a glance at you. You were beautiful, your dark browns eyes, your star-shaped freckles, and your pumped pink lips.

Everything about you was perfect.
But that's when everything went wrong.

I ended up running a red light and crashing with another car. Everything went black, until I opened my eyes to see ambulances and police surrounding us.

I could barely move, but I was able to turn my head.
That's when I seen it.
Your pale face with blood dripping from your head.

I wanted to scream, I wanted to touch you one more time.

But I was woken up to see another useless morning.
