The news of Rose's trip to Asgard hadn't gone down well with Bucky.
"Do you really have to go?" He asked her for what seemed like the hundredth time that morning. He didn't want her on a planet where he couldn't keep her safe. Not to mention the fact that Loki would be there too. He couldn't help the small amount of jealousy that he was feeling as they stood outside the bedroom.

Rose sighed. "It's only going to be a couple of days Buck." She tried to reassure him. Again.

"Why can't you just take Wanda dress shopping?" He asked as he put his arm around her shoulders, his hands talking as much as his lips were.

The mention of Wanda pulled on Rose's heartstrings. "Because she's been missing for ages." Ever since losing Vision she'd taken off, no matter how hard they'd tried, no one seemed to be able to find her. Rose missed her, but she could also understand the need to be alone and grieve for what she'd lost. "Besides," she gives Bucky a smile trying to lighten the mood. "Even if we did find her, I highly doubt she'd be interested in my wedding dress dilemma."

Bucky turned to her, clasping his hands together. "You cannot leave me with Stark. Please? We'll kill each other."

"Wolfie..." She batted her eyelashes at him, in the way that she knew would usually get him to give in.

Of course he knew exactly what she was doing. "Nope." He shook his head with a smile. "Don't 'Wolfie' me with them puppy dog eyes." He kissed her gently, pulling back to smirk at her. "Come on, I'll do that thing you like." He kissed her again, softly placing his lips against hers before pulling back to wait for her reaction.

Rose was beyond tempted, knowing exactly what he was referring to. The image of him laying underneath her as he used his tongue to make her cum over and over again flashed through her mind. She almost changed her mind on the spot. Shaking her head, she remembered why she was going on this trip in the first place.
"As tempting as that is mister, I need to go and pack."

Bucky groaned before giving her a smile, the type that would light up his eyes. "Fine, you win this one." He conceded as she pushed him gently out the way to walk into their bedroom.

"I win everyone, now keep your butt out there and out of my way." She teased before turning her attention to the empty suitcase sat on their bed. She couldn't deny that she as anxious to leave Bucky and everything she knew behind; but she was also beyond to excited to visit Asgard. To see the place she'd heard so many stories about.

Part of her hoped just a little bit that she would see Loki too, but she wasn't holding out much hope. He'd made it clear how little she truly meant to him. While she could understand him not wanting to be at the wedding with how he felt about her, it didn't mean he had to completely cut her out of his life. That hurt more than when Thanos had ripped everything away from them.

Shaking herself out of her thoughts, Rose finally managed to pack a bag before Bucky came back to try and convince her again not to go. Even his pleas were becoming less convincing, like he already knew he was fighting a losing battle. At this point it was just his way of keeping a smile on her face. Something he wanted to do for the rest of their lives.

Thor held out his hand to Rose as they stood outside, everyone else looked on as she stepped into his arms.
"Hold on tight Tiny." He advised her with that cheeky smile she had grown to both love and hate.

"Yeah as if I was going to do anything other than hold on!" She bit back through her nerves. The rainbow lights of the bifrost cascaded down around them before she could even realise what was happening. She felt herself being pulled at an in-humane speed off the ground and into the air. Her stomach threatened to empty itself all over the pair of them as they hurtled through space. Her grip tightening against him as she bit back a scream.

Before she could empty her stomach she felt the ground appear beneath her feet.

"You okay?" Thor asked as he slowly let go of her, making sure she was steady on her feet before letting go.

"Yes. No. Maybe." Rose chuckled out as she began to look around where she was. She'd never seen anything like it, everything was made of gold, reflecting any ray of sunlight it could find. Her gaze landed on a man stood in a pure gold armour, his eyes matching everything around him. She knew instantly who it was by what Loki and Thor had told her. "Oh hi. He I'd all I presume?" She blushed, remembering the amount of times she'd shouted up at him.

"Welcome to Asgard Lady Rose." Heimdall greeted her with a smile of his own.

A lady? Rose chuckled. "Just Rose is fine. I'm no lady." She joked, hoping he would get the reference.

"As you wish."

Rose turned to Thor, full of excitement and wanting to see more. "So where to Sparkles?"

"I'm afraid the King wishes to speak to Thor alone first." Heimdall informed them, regret laced in his voice. He knew how much Rose wanted to see Loki, yet he couldn't disobey his King's express command. Especially not when he knew how much Loki was truly hurting over his separation from Rose.

Thor came to Rose's side, not wanting the news to dampen her spirits. "Come on Tiny, I'll show you to your room and then go speak to my brother."

Rose's heart dropped. "Right yeah. The King of Asgard who is actively avoiding me." She couldn't hide the hurt in her voice even if she'd tried to.

Thor grabbed hold of Rose once more before flying them over the rainbow bridge, he landed just outside of the palace, wanting a chance to talk to Rose before dealing with his brother.
Rose couldn't believe how beautiful everything was, how happy the people looked. It soothed her to see how well Asgard was doing with Loki as King, like she knew it could.

"You know he misses you too Tiny." Thor broke through her thoughts, judging her shoulder gently.

"He has a funny way of showing it."

"He's stubborn and hot headed, just like you. Just give me some time." He tried to reassure her. There was no doubt in Thor's mind that Loki would be there for her in the end, just like he'd promised her he would be.

Before Rose could say anymore, a woman appeared before her. She was one of the most beautiful people Rose had ever laid eyes on, her hair wound into the most beautiful intricate braids. The blue dress she wore hung off her effortlessly.
"There you are my son. Loki is very anxious to see you." That was when Rose realised it was Frigga, Loki and Thor's mother.

Thor smiled, taking Rose's hand in his. "Tiny, I'd like to introduce my mother, mother this is Tiny."

Rose rolled her eyes. "My name isn't actually Tiny, your son is just an idiot. I'm..."

"Trust my my sweet child I know who you are." Frigga gave her a welcoming smile.

"I'm not so sure that's a good thing. Not everything your sons tell you is entirely accurate I can assure you." Rose tried to defend herself, even though she didn't have to.

"Oh trust me I know." Frigga laughed slightly, seeing why her sons were so often caught talking about Rose. "Thor, you must go to Loki. I'll take care of our guest."

Thor kissed his mother on the cheek before turning back to Rose. "Try to stay out of trouble whilst I'm gone." He knew this conversation with Loki wasn't going to be an easy one, but he didn't want to let onto Rose about how he felt.
