Chapter 44 Teleporting Mess

After leaving the Belrose Mansion, Ash goes back to Reborn City as he has to do some things before heading towards Spinel Town. Before that, he goes to the Tanzan Mountain and Tanzan Cove to capture some Pokemon first.

He returns the House Key to the Move Relearner so that he can have his Pokemon relearn some moves, then he goes back to the Peridot Ward to fish out some Pokemon in the lake.

In Magma Gang's Hideout, Ash finds a Houndour and adds it to the team, because it is hungry and he feeds it with PokeSnax.

And when Ash walks into Byxbysion Wasteland's Wall, he enters a small area and finds Kiki's grave, but the next part causes Ash to shiver. Kiki is seemingly standing in front of him in front of a grave.

Kiki: Ash...Hello, Ash...

Ash: Kiki? Is that you? (Thinks) What is going on, is she a ghost right now?

Kiki: (Angry) Why? Why did you let me die? You defeated Solaris... But still, you let him kill me. Why did you kill me?

Ash: I didn't mean to kill you! You have to believe me!

Kiki: Death is...cold...painful...lonely... You feel the wind across your face, the warmth of your own body... You feel all the light of life and then, all of a sudden, darkness. Kiki: You will suffer as I have suffered!

As Kiki's soul charges toward Ash, Ash decides to block the attack by sending out Snorlax, and the ghost can't attack him.

Ash: Kiki! You have to calm down! This isn't you, you told me that revenge isn't anything! So please, don't let anger consume you!

Kiki: (Sighs) What a pity. It would have been such fun, too. But you would not be deceived.

Kiki's soul disappears as it turns out to be a Misdreavus, who is giggling. Ash sighs as he has the Misdreavus join his team.

And he also finds a Squirtle in one of the fountains and also captures it, since it reminds him of his own Squirtle who is working with the police in Kanto.

Ash is now at Chrysolia Forest, and all he does is walk and capture Pokemon, but for him, it seems like the forest doesn't end as he gets lost in the place already.

Ash: Damn it...did I just walk towards here a few minutes ago? Where is Spinel Town and why do I think we're running in circles?
