Chapter 160 Poaching and Saving Part 1

Ash, Lillie, and Janine are now at the Night Club the next day after the whole Flora thing, and they find a Smeargle at the counter.

Lillie: Is that normal? A Smeargle is at the counter giving us Legendary missions?

Smeargle: (Writes some words on the board) "smeargle secretary!" "other human help" "help smeargle now?"

Ash: What help do you need?

Smeargle: (Writes some words on the board) "thank" "other human call help" "fast angry !" "human hurt !" "human go help human" "hurt human in train cave" "train cave near bigman woods" "human go help hurt at train cave" "spiky human go too !" "ok?"

Janine: For some reason I still don't know what that means.

Ash: I think I know...I think he wants us to find Arclight at the Lost Railcave in the Chrysolia Region.

Smeargle: "human good" "go go go !"

After getting outside, they find Arclight waiting for them.

Arc: Ash! I'm comin' with you on this one. It's a little hard to get details out of that Smeargle, but from what I've gathered, we ain't gonna be alone out there.

Ash: I thought you were already there?

Arc: I thought it would be best to wait for you guys. There've been some other reports coming in since all this Legendary business went dissonant. You and I, and the leaders- we hunt them to keep others safe. Others hunt them for more problematic pursuits- profit, power, and personal gain. You already know I ain't about that. Had enough of cages, between Devon and 7th Street alike. We can't stop folks from making a living, but we can't let 'em do it like this either. I'm heading straight over there- That old Railcave in Chrysolia, I've figured. The poachers said something about following the rocks inside. See you on that side.

They can't believe what they've heard, there are poachers in the Reborn Region, and they decide not to let them go, so they quickly get to the Lost Railcave.

Ash: I still remember this puzzle...it is not going to be easy...

Then they go through a lot of paths, and they eventually find Arclight with a man in front of them.

Arc: You're just in time.

?: And you're the Champion. And you've been working with the cops, is that right? Gotta say, I never imagined the likes of me comin' to someone like you.

Arc: Do you mean you're the one who sent in the report? An illegal poacher, asking for city help?

Breslin: And you must be Arclight. Name's Breslin. I'll try to keep this short: Me and my gang were commissioned to help acquire a valuable Electric-Type Pokémon.

Arc: "Acquire."

Breslin: Standard work, really. But this commissioner... She seems to care very little about what happens to me or my crew.

Arc: Surely you're used to taking a few risks, operating outside the law and all.

Breslin: It's not only that. She seems a little... unhinged. It's got to the point that I don't care what happens to her, or even if we get our cut- We're out. It's too dangerous. And that's where you four come in. I can lead you right to her and my team, all I ask is a little protection from the long arm of the law. What do you say?
