After Rome had left he went home and took a shower and regretted not asking Carter out. He gets out of the shower and sees a message from Carter.

Rome throws his phone on the bed and gets changed. he goes for a ride and ends up at his Ex's how. he doesn't know why hes doing it but he just ended up there. He goes to her door and she's opens it she laughs and lets him in. time goes ny and he leaves, he went to her house and the ended up hooking up. 

he gets in his car and just realises what he s doing. he looks at Carters messages and goes to reply but then doesn't. he goes home and gets a text from Tyler.

T: Yo Ro
T: need to holla at you.
R: you good?
T: Aye man I asked Carter out and I just wanted to ask you if you good?
R: why?
T: Cause bro.
R: cause why?
T: I thought you had a thing for her so?
R: man its all good just make sure you don't fuck with her.
T: no worries I wont.
R: then we good.
T:cool.

rome signs and calls it a night.

Carter gets to school and sees Tyler standing at her locker she looks at him and he gose to hug and kiss her. she hesitates he looks at her. 

C: sorry I forgot. she kisses him
T: oh no you good.
C: not use to this whole thing
T: oh well if your uncomfortable  
C: no I'm just not use to it but ill get around it.
T:okay

they walk to lunch together and she sits with him and some of the other guys from the football team. they all look at Carter who looks at them.

C: what?
GUYS: ohh nothing 
C: ok so why are yall staring
G: I guess we aint use to you being with someone.
C: right. well look somewhere else now.
 the guys look away and carry on with there conversation. Carter over hears what they talk about.

G: yo bro I know he must of got with her.
G: I mean it wouldn't be the first time but she mad crazy sometimes."
G: who cares she's bad.
TY: who yall talkin bout?
G: oh rome got with nikki.
TY: what haha but you right 

C: when did this happen
G: umm probably like 2 nights ago.
TY: classic.
C: right

carter looks at her food and thinks about it. rome had went to nikkis crib and clept with her after there fight. Did he do it to get back at carter. Tyler pokes carter she snaps out of it.

C:hmm
T: you good.
C: yeah.
T: you were like staring into space.
C: I was thinking of my assignment.
T: you need help.
C: you can help me with assignments haha
T: ok laugh it up I'm actually a partner.
C: right.
GUY: no he is. he got us an A for our bio assignment.
T: see. soo you want my help
C: wow I mean if you can help me with my art piece then sure.
T: Art ohh 
C: what
T: I mean I don't do art but I'm sure I can try
C: thankssss.

rome walks over to the guys and says hi he sees carter who is on her phn.

R: Hey Carter.
she looks up.
C: Hi in  a cold tone.

the guys ask him how nikki was he looks at carter who was engaged with her phn. Carter gets up and say bye to Tyler and bye to the guys rome watches her leave and goes after her a few minutes after.

rome is running after her he stops her and she looks at him.

C: what?
R: look I know what your thinking
C: really
R: it just happened.
C: Rome you came to my house and told me you liked me then you go and fuck your ex.
R: its not like that.
C: well it seems like that. what if I didn't say yes to tyler huh.
R: but you did.
C: you know what you do you.
R: carter 
C: I'm not mad and I'm sorry I hurt you but shit you could of at least waited a night.
R: carter.
C: we are good.

she leaves the convo and heads to study hall. Rome goes back to the guys. tyler l
