It has been a very busy week for the Robredos. From Jillian's return, to sorties and grand rallies, to house-to-house campaigns, they can now finally rest without having to think about campaigns.
Today is Holy Wednesday night and the Robredos are already there at their house outside of Naga. The one that Leni and her siblings purchased to get away from the buzz of the city.
They immediately flew from Masbate to Naga right after the grand rally in Masbate so as not to travel during the paschal triduum.
"Welcome to our home, Jorge." Leni said upon arriving at the gate of their house
"Ito po yung bago ninyong bahay?" Jorge asked
"Bago nating bahay." Leni said and put her hands on her daughter's shoulders
"Atin. Ang sarap pong pakinggan." Jorge replied
"Anak kita kaya atin itong bahay na ito. Bahay mo rin to." Leni said
"Ang ganda po." Jorge said
"Pasok tayo sa loob kasi mas maganda yung loob." Jillian told Jorge
She held Jorge's hands and pulled her inside the house.
"Ma, saan ko po pala ilalagay ang mga gamit ko?" Jorge asked Leni upon entering the living room
"Doon sa kwarto ko. Hali ka." Leni replied and guided Jorge to her room
"Dito rin po ba matutulog sina ate?" Jorge asked
"Oo. Dito sila matutulog pero sa akin ka tatabi. Maglalatag lang sila ng foam diyan sa sahig." Leni replied
"Okay po." Jorge said
"Baka gusto mo munang maligo bago matulog. Feel at home lang anak." Leni said
"Okay po ma. Thank you po." Jorge replied and went to take a bath
Leni went out of the room and bumped into Jillian.
"Oh Jill, saan ka pupunta?" Leni asked
"Sa kwarto po? Maglalagay ng gamit?" Jillian replied
"Anak, Jorge is with me here sa room. You can put your things at your ates' room." Leni replied
"Okay po." Jillian replied and went to the other room
Leni followed her to the other room.
"Tapos na kayo? May food tayo doon sa kitchen." Leni told them
"Okay po ma. Labas kami after namin mag-freshen up." Aika replied
Jillian organized her things with a heavy shoulder. Aika noticed her.
"Ayos ka lang ba, Jill?" Aika asked her
"Yes ate. Excited lang kasi ako na makasama ulit si mama pero lagi nalang si Jorge." Jillian replied
"Jill, intindihin mo muna si mama for now. 20 years nawala sa atin si Jorge kaya it's right for her na maging priority muna si Jorge for now." Tricia replied
"Okay po. I understand, it's just that I missed her too." Jillian replied
"Freshen up ka nalang muna then go out to eat." Tricia replied
Jillian went to the shower to freshen up first.
After that, the three elder girls went to the living room where their mom and Jorge are happily eating and watching a series.
"Oh. So this is one of your favorite series?" Leni asked Jorge
"Yes po, ma." Jorge replied
