I could hear the alarm go off. Sloane opened the door and told me to come out. I groaned and travelled to the balcony through the shadows. The shadows built up in a blob and soon left my body. I looked out on the balcony to see a group of strangers in our house. I raised my eyebrow and looked at the other. Alphonso shrugged and we looked back at the group. I saw a guy dressed in all black pull out a knife and the rest look at us.

"Dad, who the hell are these assholes?" Ben asked. They all mumbled something but I couldn't quite make it out. Except one of them who shouted. "And who are the weirdos on the balcony!" The one in all black shouted. "They are the Sparrows, my children," Dad stated. The group turned to him in confusion and then looked back at us. I used my powers and travelled next Ben.

"Wait, what do you mean your children? That's not possible, old man," the shorter one said. "Of course it is. I think I would know, wouldn't I?" dad answered. "Everybody else can see Ben, right?" the guy with a weird hat said. "Cute hat, Sundance," Ben mocked. The guy tipped his hat slightly. "They call themselves, The Umbrella Academy, a group of scheming, perfidious malcontents who accosted me in the fall of 1963 when I was away on business in Dallas," dad said. We looked at each other again. "Be warned, they claim to be my spawn," dad continued. "Claim? Look, Five, what the hell is going on?" one of the girls questioned. (I know, Victor isn't a girl, but in the beginning they referred to him as such, so please just go with it for now.) "I don't know yet, but it's concerning," the boy, who I assume is Five, states.

"Is he telling the truth?" Marcus asks. "Not the part about us being perfidious," the other girl states. "No, we're amateur-fidious, at best," the hat guy says. "But we are his children. This is our home," the girl continues. "Yeah, yeah. We uh...we grew up here," the tall guy states. "Yeah, yeah. We grew up here," Alphonso mocked. We let out a few chuckles. "I kind of think we would have notice you," Sloane states. The tall guy looks at her and smiles. "Hi, I'm Luther," he introduced himself. "Okay, none of you belong here," the other girl states. "Oh! Well then. I guess we'll just pack our bags and move out," Fei jokes. Christopher spoke up and we all chuckle. "You slay me, Chris," Ben announces.

Then Grace walks in with a plate of cookies. "I wasn't expecting company," she sighs. "This is the best I could do on short--short...short notice," she states with a smile. The knife guy places his knife back and walks towards Grace. "Mom," he mumbled. "Mom? She's a robot, you perv," Jayme states. "She's not a robot," he states. "Hey, don't you call him that," Luther says. "Or what?" Ben questioned. "Come closer and find out," Luther threatened. "You think I'm afraid?" Ben states, taking a step towards him. "Stand down, Ben," Marcus calmly orders. They continue to argue. I see Jayme spit her venom at knife guy and blow him a kiss. I get ready to use my powers as I gather a bit of shadow in my hand.

"I don't know what circus you escaped from or how you got past our security, but we're done here. You got 30 seconds to get out of our house," Marcus states. "And if we don't?" the girl questioned. "Then well have to settle this the old fashioned way," Marcus states. "Look, we just fought a literal army. Okay? This doesn't need to get ugly. Let's all just calm down, and lets talk," the shorter girl states trying to calm down the situation.

"Psst, Ben-er-ino. You look so much better alive then you do dead," hat guy states. We all look at him. "Am I right? Except that haircut," he continues. "What the hell did you just say?" Ben exclaimed. "Come on, come on. Stop with all the hostility, Mr. Grumpy Pants," hat guy says, walking up to Ben. "Oh wow. Nice scar. Muy macho," he continues. "Shut your mouth!" Ben demands. "You shut your mouth and just hug your brother-" Ben punches him square in the jaw. He dramatically flies to the coffee table. "Hey! What the hell! You didn't have to do that!" Luther yells. "Oh, I'm pretty sure I did," Ben states. I sigh as they all start arguing again. I see Marcus trying to separate the two but gets pushed by Luther. I stepped back as Luther tried to punch him. Marcus kicks him back after dodging the punch. He sent him flying into the hat guy.

I hear something from behind me and I immediately kick it. It was the kid I noticed from before. He stumbled back but quickly regained his stance. I smirked as he looked up at me. He came running towards me before disappearing. I turned and he kicked me square in the stomach. I laughed and disappeared in the shadows. He looked around for me. I tapped him on the shoulder and punched him in the stomach. I grabbed his arm and was about to throw him over my shoulder, but he disappeared again. He appeared next to Ben causing them to fight for a bit. When he knocked out Ben, I suddenly felt intrigued by him. He walked off and I shadow travelled to find the kid. It looked like Jayme got to him first, as he was making out with the air. "Ugh," I mumbled. "Are they all perverts?" I asked. Me and Jayme looked at each other. "You can take him I did my part," she says before walking off. I just walk up to him and kick him behind his head. He rolls down the stairs. Satisfied and travel to the living room where my other siblings are.

The shorter girl was on the table. We surrounded her so there was no way she could escape. She started glowing blue and I tried to escape through the shadows but she was faster. An explosion of light came from her sending all of us flying. We all groan and get up. "It's over. Go. Don't come back," Marcus says to the girl. Sloane runs up to me. "Are you okay?" she asked. Shadows still leaving me from my attempt to escape. I nod as I watched the girl walk out.
