Christo and Sia visited their uncle,

named Marcel,

who lived on the other side of the lake,

almost daily if not weekly.

They had to walk alongside that lake,

which was nicknamed,

"The Mermaid Lake",

to go see their uncle.

Some days Christo would stop by the lake,

to contemplate its beauty.

He would relax a little with his sister Sia,

and tell her fairy tales about some sea creatures,

recognized by many as "The Siren of the Waters."

Sia always thought these stories had to be real,

since her brother was as natural as a believer,

when he was telling them.

Though Christo was truly quite the storyteller,

Sia needed a world to escape.

Sia would sit peacefully

on a big rock in the shape of a giant's back,

listening in awe to her brother's

stories of majestic mermaids, sirens,

and the Tezen nan Dlo universe.

She would find herself wishing,

she could be one of those delightful creatures,

that Christo talked so amazingly about.
