you pulled up to the hospital as felix opened your door for you holding rome in his arms

you went into the hospital seeing the same woman doctor that helped you

you-hey um idk who to talk too about a um scan like a pregnancy scan. midwife thing
you said shaking before she held your hands

doctor-you heard what i said?

she took you into a room with lots of scenes and a bed

doctor-when i was doing your surgery i saw your baby and said they're gonna be beautiful that's why i told that other doctor not to give up on you. i sent letting a pregnant woman die
she explained rubbing jelly onto your lower stomach and turning a matchine on

you began to cry as felix held your hand tightly

felix-its okay sweetheart, ur okay

doctor-thats ur other kid, right
she asked looking over to rome who sat on felix's lap

you chuckled

doctor-whats his name?
she said rubbing your stomach with some sort of scanner

you-rome
you smiled as rome grabbed one of your fingers felix held the rest as you held his back tight

you glanced over to the big screen before the woman stopped in one spot

doctor-midwife? yeah. it's my main profession but ive trained for surgical work too

you watched seeing a baby like figure on the screen
felix held your hand looked from the screen to you

you-idk if im terrified or happy
you said crying

you asked

doctor-yeah, i can check for a boy or girl and that'll give me dates on how long you've been pregnant for if you'd like?

you-please, yes please
you said as she tapped on a screen near her zooming in on something moving the scanner on your stomach

she said confidently

doctor-it's very clear too
she chuckled

she pressed something else before standing up passing you 2 massive paper towels

doctor-clean the jell off and i'll go get dates for you
she smiled walking out

you cleaned your stomach looking over to felix

felix-it's over a month ago
he said confidently

you-how do you know for sure?

felix-she wouldn't know the sex until around 7 and 12 weeks it's me or tai dakota

you breathed out calming yourself

doctor-of course come by every 3 weeks for a checkup and i'll be here waiting

you walked out the room with felix as he glanced to you
