i jolt awake trying hard to catch my breath

i look around puzzled and in slight panic

where am i?!

the air around me is cold and crisp

it smells of latex, alcohol wipes and lavender

my head is pounding

i can hear my heart beating in my ears

my eyes adjust to the thankfully dull lights around me

a beeping noise catches my attention

i look to my left and my eyes settle on the IV and machinery beside me

am i...in the hospital...?

my stomach drops

why-

my hearing focuses a little better on the rain pouring outside

the noise was not comforting

it was utterly uncomfortable

i went to get up and felt my body stiff

i cant move

i look down to see... hair?

dark brown hair

too dark to be joonies-

where is he-

why am i alone here-

well... kinda alone

who is this?

the body next to me shifts

the human grabbed me firmer...almost snuggling into me

i stiffened even more

we stayed like this for awhile

i flinch as a phone suddenly went off

the human sprung awake and ran to the phone

he looked at the call and slowly put the phone down

after a moment or two i can hear it

he's crying

i stare puzzled

then he starts sobbing

i flinch

i feel bad..but i'm so confused

why am i here?

who is this?

what happened?

and where is namjoon?!

he gets up and goes into the bathroom

he flickers on the lights, staring aimlessly in the mirror

i try making out his face but my eyes aren't adjusting to the light

...how long have i been sleeping?

he searches his face a million times over

almost as if he's looking for something new to appear

after what seems like a long time he glances my way

his body freezes

we are now looking at each other

his face goes blank and his eyes go dead

it's scary

i stare back...he almost looks familiar
