Once I'm done Miguel barges in yelling," READY TO GET THE DAY GOING!" I sit and glare,"you know I'm not a morning person, and no I'm actually kinda nervous but its whatever idk" he smiles and says,"You'll do great but just in case I brought you your favorite soda" he tosses it to me and I catch it
"God this is why your my favourite twin" he looks at me confused "aren't I your only twi-" "MIGGY HARPER COME ON WE'LL BE LATE" we both shout back "COMING" I race Miguel to the front seat of the car and luckily got there before him so he had to sit in the back I shut the door and stick my tongue out at him through the window he pouts and huddles in the back seat
When we get to school my brother immediately ditched me to run up to some brunette girl I already could tell he liked her but I thought I would save it for later, yk blackmail and stuff.
In the first period I got lost I bumped into a tall guy with a Mohawk I look up and he started to smirk while looking down at me with his hand on my forearm, I quickly apologized he said," no worries princess" I slightly turned pink then I did a full 180 and came into class he followed closely behind me the teacher looked angry.
The teacher says sarcastically,"Nice of you two to show your faces" I say "yeah yeah where do I sit?" He looks dumbfounded I jester for him to answer the guy with the Mohawk grabs my waist to move me out of his way and he walked to his desk that had an empty seat beside it he patted the seat I look at the teacher and he says," you will have to be seated beside that boy" he points right to the kid with the Mohawk
I roll my eyes and walk over to him he says "hey I'm Hawk-" "I'm not interested" I cut him off he jumps back "oOo feisty I like it!" He smirks I turn to the teacher but I can still feel eyes burning into the left side of my skull I grab my soda that Miguel gave me out of my bag. Hawk says "Woah that's my favorite soda what are you a goddess sent from heaven " he takes the bottle out of my hand and takes a sip then returned it to my hand I say,"HEY WHAT THE HELL!"
The teacher spun his body towards me and says,"consider this a warning miss Diaz, I don't want anymore outbursts" I chirp back "yup, sorry" and glare at Hawk I can't believe this guy who does he think he is. He just smiles at me I whispering,"think that's funny huh?" He nods "hilarious" I grabbed some paper and wrote on it 'MR. LEE CAN SUCK A DICK- From Hawk' I crunch it up and Hawk just noticed what I planned to do he reached for the paper but too late it already hit the teacher upside his head Hawk looked worried the teacher read the paper and announced "Hawk that is a 1 hour detention this afternoon" Hawk looked at me "Oh really? You wanna play dirty two can play that game" he shouted "FUCK YOU IDIOT"the teacher flung around and Hawk and two of his friends pointed at me I looked stunned I cant believe I'm gonna get in trouble because of this dork the teacher stated,"Ok make that another detention" I have an annoyed look on my face then the bell rings
-time skip to lunch-
I sit with Miguel and his karate friends which included Hawk, Hawk kept glancing at me I even caught myself looking back which he enjoyed I started to turn pink like why is this guy so obsessed with me Miguel breaks me out of my trance by saying "Harper this is my friend Aisha and Demetri and this is my best friend Hawk" I say "Hey, and btw Miguel I have a detention" his eyes grow wide "What! What did you do!" I look at Hawk and say "ask your best friend" Miguel looked disapprovingly at Hawk but they ended up laughing I ignored them all pretty much
-Time skip after school at detention-
I get into the detention first and sit in the very back corner right by the window Hawk walks in and sits right by me the detention teacher starts snoring loudly I stare out the window and I get hit with paper I look back to see Hawk getting up and coming over to me "Wanna ditch this popsicle stand?" I quietly laugh at his attempt but out of curiosity I say "What do you have in mind?" He grabs my hand and helps me up and opens the window he gestures for me to go out the window "ladies first" I climb out he follows we run up to the parking lot I hug him and say "thanks for getting me out of that hell hole even though you got me in it" he says "anytime princess" and smirks and gets into his car I run and jump in Miguel's car and we leave.
