Third person's POV
"Huh? The Ring of Future? I've never heard of anything like this..." Ash gave his reflection a confusing look. "What is it for and why is it here?" He wondered.
"Well... as the name says... it is a divine entity which allows you to able to look into the future." The reflection gave Ash an answered that awestruck him.
"Whaaaat? You say I can see the future with this?" Ash didn't believe what he just heard.
"You know, there are many parts of your mind and with each meditation, you have a chance to go in this state and explore a certain part of your mind, depending on what is troubling you." The reflection explained. "As it is, your biggest troubles are connected with your future, so Arceus is giving you a chance to glance at a certain moment that lies within your future." He added.
"What type of moment precisely? Will it be a random moment, or is it a specially chosen moment that will have some impact on me?" Ash asked.
"I believe it is not a random moment... Though, I do not know what kind of moment, good or bad, it will be. That is up to you to find out with that ring." The reflection said.
"So... How do I put this thing on?" Ash asked.
"Just put your hand through it. As far as I know you will appear in front of some kind of mirror, I will fill you with more details once you activate the ring." The reflection said and Ash followed his instruction.
Once Ash put the divine relic in a form of bracelet on his wrist, the whole surrounding's changed...
He was now standing in an unknown bathroom, looking at a mirror, where he saw the reflection from his mind.
"Huh... it looks like I'm in a bathroom of someone's house." Ash described.
"It sure looks like it... I will let you know that this is your last moment to decide if you want to see the future... once you will do one step in a direction going away from this mirror, you will have to see this future no matter what..." The reflection said.
"As the last thing, I shall let you know that this may be our last conversation today... After seeing the future, you will wake up in a meditation position, sitting in your room. I also shall give you an advice to not be confused by the time your clocks will be showing once you return to reality..." The reflection said.
"Ok, well, I guess this's a goodbye... So, see you later..." Ash said and waved to his reflection.
"Farewell..." The reflection said when Ash turned right and went to the doors of the bathroom.
He slowly opened the doors and checked his surroundings... He was in a hallway of someone's house, and wondered to whom this house belongs...
He went to the left and froze one step before reaching the living room... What he saw completely stunned him...
Ash saw his friends... Goh, Chloe, Iris, Cilan, Barry, Dawn, Paul, Clemont, Lillie, May who was sitting very close to Drew, and Misty who was sitting on Gary's lap... that wasn't the surprising thing... what froze Ash in his track was the one person who was sitting among all of his friends... the honey-blond girl in a black top and a red skirt...
"Isn't this the girl with the Fennekin from my nightmare? What is she doing here?" Ash wondered.
Ash realized that as he was standing, frozen in place, the time in the vision is also frozen...
He looked at the group of his friends and analyzed the situation... they appeared to be playing some kind of game, some of them were sitting on a pillows on ground, some were sitting on the two sofas.
