ALYSSA POV
"Aalis ka na?" Sam asked sounding a bit hopeful that I would change my mind. But I can't and I won't. I nodded slowly not minding her presence beside me. We're on my bed, arranging the things I need.
Actually, plano pa sana naming mag bakasyon muna. Hopefully, next time na lang after our commitments.
Nga pala... kasama ko siya ngayon kasi tinutulungan niya ako mag-impake. May training kasi kami sa Thailand dahil gusto nila akong i-recruit bilang import sa isa sa mga volleyball team nila doon. At least naman yung pag-iimpake namin eh hindi nauuwi sa bardagulan. Malungkot yung katabi ko eh. Ako din.
"Galingan mo ha." She carresed my back and planted a soft kiss on my shoulder. She was like telling me that whatever the results would be it's okay, may it be win or lose, at least ilalaban at inilaban ko. At walang masasayang o nasayang.
"Ikaw din ha. Galingan mo. Sabi mo nga para sa ekonomiya. Emz." I joked looking at her with a smile.
"Thank you for everything." She answered shortly, giving me a very genuine smile. I was staring at her for too long that I can't stop it. Not until...
"Aray naman." I complained after she hit my shoulder and biceps with her 'oh so loving hands'. It wasn't painful naman talaga. Binibiro ko lang din siya.
"Nanggigigil kasi ako sayo. Wala ka doon sa BNK eh. Tsaka mamimiss kita. Sobra." She said while squeezing my biceps. I was laughing in my mind at her facial expressions while I'm looking at her. Nakakatawa naman kasi siya mang-gigil eh.
"Bakit ka nakangiti?" She asked. Was I too obvious?
"Kailan ba ako hindi ngumiti tuwing kasama ka?" I used my reverse card.
"Ayan. Nagtanong ako tapos tinanong din ako. Ay ako pala sasagot sa tanong ko?" I laughed at her while she's saying those words in a sarcastic manner. Cutest person in my life ever.
"But seriously, galingan mo talaga ha. Well, magaling ka naman talaga." I said. I continued arranging and packing my stuffs.
"Puro pambobola talaga alam mo eh. Yan din ba sinasabi mo sa mga babae mo?" Mataray niyang tanong. Omg!
"Excuse me? Kayo lang naman babae ko." I glanced at her direction for a second.
"Exception kami. Syempre kaibigan mo kami."
"Ewan ko sayo. Seryosohin mo nga ako." I was about to roll my eyes when I realized na hindi pala ako marunong. Nakakahiya.
Huwag na nga.
"Tagal na nga." She answered like it was a normal thing for her.
"Hoy, Bernardo. Umayos ka!"
"Akin na nga yang mga tinutupi mong damit. Yung blood pressure mo... Kalmahan natin." She said and then grab the shirt I'm holding.
"Kidding aside. Oo na po, opo. Laban natin yun, sizzy."
"Oo. At hindi ka lalabas ng BNK hangga't hindi ka pa nagiging Big Winner ha. Hindi kami papayag."
Hindi talaga ako papayag na hindi. Para sa kanya na 'to. Of all people, I know she deserves it.
"Supportive naman po, opo." She answered while fixing the things inside my suitcase.
"Of course. Why would I not?" I asked while zipping up yung maleta. We're done packing.

AIRPORT 🛫
"Sizzy, dito na lang ako sa parking lot. Hindi na kita masasamahan sa loob." She said not looking at me. Her head is bent downwards. I know nalulungkot siya kasi matagal pa kami magkikita ulit.
"It's okay, sizzy." I answered while getting my luggage out of her car. After doing so, I placed it behind me. I looked at Sam while she's rubbing her palm together.
I went to her side and held her hands to stop her from whatever she's doing. She immediately look up to me while I'm still holding her hands. I hug her tight.
"You got this, Sam." She'll be back sa BNK the day after tomorrow. I think she's nervous because she'll comeback without me. I believe in her more than she believes in me.
"Hindi ako sanay, Ly." She told me and then she placed her chin on my shoulder while hugging me tighter. Magaling naman siya makisama kaya kayang-kaya niya yan.
"Eto naman. Huwag na sad. Magkikita naman tayo after ng commitment ko sa Vietnam tapos after ng commitment mo sa PBB." I said to comfort her. But what stopped me was ...
"Eh tayo kailan natin gagawing commitment ang isa't-isa?" I froze upon hearing what she just said. Tama ba pagkakaintindi ko?
"Kumain ka ha.. yung maayos. Baka maging sabaw ka na naman. Walang magre-remind sayo doon. Tsaka pagtatawanan talaga kita. Char." I joked to make the mood a little lighter.
"Grabe naman yan, Ly." She tightened her hug and look at my eyes and I did the same. She's looking at me. Aww her eyes 🥺
"Manonood ako ng Livestream kapag free ako at maglalaan ako ng oras para sayo. Lagi't lagi." I assured her. At least kahit hindi niya makikita, she will feel na I'm there for her even sa loob man or labas ng BNK.
"Hindi naman na kailangan kung busy ka talaga. Given na yon." She answered assuring me that it's okay. Hays. Ang matured a understanding talaga niya.
"If in case makapanood ka naman, I'll always make sure na maganda ako sa lahat ng angle. Maganda naman talaga ako." She even flipped her hair a bit.
"Pagbalik ko at paglabas mo, pakasal na tayo."
"Anong kasal? Hindi mo pa nga ako girlfriend. Maghintay ka."
"Oo na." I laughed and kissed her forehead. "Pasok na ako sa airport, babe. Baka maiwan ako ng flight ko." I told her while checking my luggage kung wala na bang naiwan sa sasakyan.
"I love you. We got this, babe!" She cheered me up and kissed my cheek.
"I love you. Laban, babe!" I cheered her too and smiled wider.
