Chapter 23

In recess,
All student come out from class, our gang is only sitting in class,

Abhi-(to dev& anu) tum dono ko kya ho jata hai bich-bich me, aise koun ladta hai.

Vaish- ha, aur aaj to sir ke samne hi shuru ho gaye.

Dev- mai nahi, ananya ne fight shuru ki thi.

Anu- maine nahi, tumne ki thi.

Sid-(looking at abhi, vaish & ashi) ye dono fir shuru ho jayenge, roko inhe.

Ashi- (to dev& anu) dekho tum dono ka pet fight se bhar jata hoga, par hame pet bharne ke liye kuch khana padata hai. Aur muze bohut bhuk lagi hai.

Dev- bhuk to muze bhi lagi hai. Chalo canteen chalte hai.

All- ha chalo.

Anu- tum log canteen jao, mai abhi aati hoo. Muze locker room me kuch kaam hai.

Vaish- ok. Ham tera canteen me wait karte hai.

Anu- ok.

Then anu leave for locker room & others for canteen.

Outside the locker room

Ananya is going to enter in locker room but
"Ananya, wait a minute." A voice come from back. Ananya turn and look that ray is coming toward her.

Anu- kya huwa, kuch baat karni hai mujhase.

Ray- ha

Anu- to bolo.

Ray- I don't like...

Anu- me

Ray- Nooo

Anu- then...

Ray- I don't like that dev, how dare he to fight with you in front of whole class & malik sir also. And uski wajah se tumhe pehali baar detention bhi mila.

Anu- ray, dev bohut accha ladka hai. And detention muze uski wajah se nahi mili. Class me mai bhi usse lad rahi thi. Galti meri bhi hai. And one more thing friendship me ye sab chalta rehata hai. So don't take it seriously. Muze kuch kaam hai mai aati hoo.

Anu leave in locker room.

Ray- (in angry tone) muze kuch aur sochna padega. Mai chodunga nahi us dev ko.

In canteen

All are sitting on their place waiting for anu. And anu come.

Anu- sorry, guy's bohut late ho gaya na muze.

Ashi- it's ok, par ab jaldi bol tuze kya khana hai. Kyuki muze bohut bhuk lagi hai.

Anu- tum logone order kyu nahi kiya.

Sid- ham tumhara wait kar rahe the isliye.

Anu- ok ab jaldi se kuch order kar do. Muze bhi bohut bhuk lagi hai.

Dev- tum sab bata do kya khaoge. Mai counter pe order de deta hoo.

Now, sab dev ko batate hai ki unhe kya khana hai, dev counter par order batakar apne sit par wapas aa jata hai.

Dev- by the way, kisiko pata hai kya ki malik sir kya detention denge.

Vaish- pata nahi, kyuki aaj tak to ham me se kisi ko bhi detention nahi mila.

Anu- aur tum kyu itni tention le rahe ho detention ki, tumhe to aadat hogi.

Dev- o hello, muze aadat hogi matlab, tumhe kya lagata hai ki mai aise hi sabse ladata- jhagadta rehata hoon.

Anu- ji ha, kyuki hamesha to tum mujhase jhagadte rehate ho.

Dev- ye to mai bhi keh sakta hoo ki tum sabase hamesha ladti jhagadti rehati hogi, kyuki tum bhi to muzase hamesha jhagadati rehati ho.

& Malik sir come in canteen and saw that anu and dev are fighting again, and went to their table.

Malik sir-(from behind) tum dono bina jhagda kiye reh nahi sakte kya?

All gang look toward malik sir.

Dev&anu- sorry sir,

Malik sir- you know what, tum dono ko detention ki bohut jarurat hai, isliye tum dono college khatam hone ke baad muze staff room ke bahar milana.

Anu- but sir.....

Malik sir- is that clear.

Dev&anu- yes sir.

Malik sir- that's good, now enjoy your food.

Malik sir leave from their. Anu and dev look at each other and then at gang. All are started laughing.

Sid- kitni baar kaha hai. jhagda mat karo. Par tum dono sunte hi nahi.

Ashi- ab bhukato. Detention kal milne wali thi. Wo aaj hi milegi.

Dev- hame kya pata tha ki malik sir yaha aa jayenge.

Anu- aur nahi to kya. Aur kaise dost ho tum sab. Hamare upar has rahe ho.

Abhi-(to sid and ashi) accha ba hasana band karo. Hamara order aa gaya, sab jaldi kha lo, next class jaldi shuru ho jayegi. (Looking at dev and anu) tum dono thoda jyada kha lena. Pata nahi college ke baad kya karayenge malik sir.

Dev- abhi tu bhi hamara majak uda raha hai.

Anu- that's not fair abhi.

Abhi- accha, sorry, ab sab khate hai, aur class ke liye nikalte hai.

All of them eat their food and leave for their class.
