It's been a week since the "runaway talk" with Mattheo.
Our plan was to run away next week but it was too late
The battle had started today
Mattheo and I stayed in our manner and didn't leave since we were far from hogwarts
Many, many death eaters died and most of my friends actually are death eaters so they were in danger too
"I'm scared" I say to mattheo
He held me tight
"As long as I'm here, you'll be just fine" he whispered in my ear
~in the middle of the night~
Mattheo's pov:
in the middle of the night y/n and I both heard a knock at the door
It was blaise, crabbe, goyle, theodore and pansy covered in blood
"Oh dear lord" my love said as she went over to help them
"Whatever happened to you?" I asked, concerned
"Your father"Theodore said
"God damn it" I whisper to myself
"Lock the gates and doors" I tell the maids
"Right away Mr Riddle" Vanessa, one of the older maids (age 125) went to lock the doors.
"We have guest bedrooms available for you to stay in" my lovely y/n said
"Thank you" pansy said
"I'll go clean you off" y/n said as she helped pansy to the bathroom
I heard a scream
I quickly ran to see what happened and I found y/n on the floor, passed out
"What happened" I ask Pansy as I pick up y/n
"She saw my missing ear" Pansy said as she shown her left ear was now missing
"Oh dear lord" I said as I put y/n to bed
"Well go to one of our extra rooms, I'll ask vanessa to take care of you" I replied
