Marriage messes : Mattheo riddle x y/n

27~ Reunited... good or bad?

It's been a month since Mattheo left and everything is falling apart...

Death eaters have been invading hogwarts and everything is a mess

One afternoon my owl Cleo delivered a letter to me

"good girl" I praised the owl as it fluttered it's wings and I pat it on the head

My eyes lit up when I saw the words M.R on the front of the letter

I immediately opened it

Strange... Weird capital letters and princess? He almost never calls me princess.

I thought about the note the entire day

~At night~

"So... hand me the note you've been stressing about all day" Pansy says, gesturing for me to give the note to her

I hand it to her

"I got it!" Pansy exclaims happily

She puts the note down on the desk and gets out a pen and circles all the capital letters

"H" I read

"E" She continued

"L" I say before I slowly realise what the word is

"P..." Pansy says

"he needs help but I think his father checks his letters" i tell pansy

'So that's why he coded the message, poorly but he did try" Pansy says in realisation 

"What type of help do you think he needs?" Pansy asks again

"I don't know..." I answer

"We'll have to figure it out" Pansy adds

"No shit sherlock" I bite back

"gosh, you're fussy today" Pansy teased

Then we heard a loud bang

Theodore's new little girlfriend came running into our dorm in tears

"What's wrong?" I ask, generally concerned

"Theodore- he's dead" she says as she cried

Pansy and I both look at each other in shock

I feel teardrops running down my cheeks and it was as if my whole world was slowly crumbling

"The dark lord he- he killed him" she explained and Pansy and I listened

His funeral was a week later and we all rose our wands, in hopes he'll make it to heaven

Looking at his picture on his coffin makes me want to throw up.

he was so happy... so alive and now suddenly he was dead

This was all happening too fast and if felt as if my head was to explode any second

"Y/n..." I heard aa screechy voice say from behind

It was voldemort

"Please, stand by mattheo" he says pointing at mattheo

I do as he asks and Mattheo grabs my hand

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"Listen, my father is planning on starting war tomorrow but I convinced him to come here early so I could see you" he explained

I give him a hug so big it felt like the last one I would ever give him

"What happened to my family?" I ask

"Well, as you know, your douche-bag brother draco is at hogwarts and your parents are coming tomorrow" He says

I nod

"God I missed you" he says with tears in his eyes

'come now, son and soon to be daughter. We have much to do" The dark lord (my almost father in law) said

we follow reluctantly 

"tomorrow... we attack with all of our death eaters at once and group 1 break the barrier, group 2, make sure to kill all who supports harry potter and the rest is my duty" voldemort explains

he keeps on ranting about his "master plan" for what felt like an eternity until we were finally dismissed

I take mattheo to Pansy and my dorm

Pansy wasn't here tonight since she was volunteering at the library today

The moment we get in the dorm I feel mattheo's smooth lips crash on mine

"I missed you and I tried to call you for help but-" he says and before he could finish I smash my lips onto his a second time

"I thought I lost you" I admit to him

"you'll never loose me, darling. Ok?" I reassures me, stroking my hair

I nod

"Are you ready for tomorrow?" I ask

"I don't think anyone is, love" he responds, pulling me close

"But tomorrow has to come someday... right?" he asks

"Right" I mumble and let out a fake smile

It was nice to have him back though, it felt... good

I hope tomorrow isn't as bad as I imagine it to be
