"Holy shit!" Mattheo screamed from upstairs as he ran down
"What's wrong?" I ask, I was holding Mason as I was making breakfast.
The kids were home for break and they were still sleeping upstairs until Mattheo's scream woke them
"What's wrong?" I ask as I pull out a chair, gesturing for him to sit down and he does.
"I got this letter in the mail today" he says as he hands me the letter
I gasped as I read the letter
It read:

Dear Mr and Mrs Riddle,
This letter is regarding sending your kid's safety. Please, do not send them back to hogwarts after break and we will tell you when it is safe but for now, all students are temporarily suspended due to the recent rumor that the dark lord is back.
Multiple ex-death eaters have complained about they marks hurting recently and we are not risking the lives of any students so for the safety of your kids, please keep all students home and keep up with the daily prophet for news on the return of the dark lord.
Thank you for your understanding and I promise you, we hogwarts staff will try our best to protect the place we love.
Please, stay safe and protect your children.

"Madison, masie get down here" I yell
They slowly walk down the stairs, still in their pj's
"Sit, we need to talk to you" Mattheo says, clearly worried
"What's wrong dad?" Maddie asks
"We were just about to explain Maddie, now sit" I reply
The girls take a seat and mason was sat in his high-chair
We explain everything to the kids and they look totally in shock
"So you're saying, my grandfather, who's a deadly killer is back?" Masie asks
"Now now Masie, we don't know anything for real" Mattheo says
"Stop with this fucking bullshit! Tell me the truth!" Masie yells
"Language!" I yell
"That's it, this is shit, this is all a bunch of bullshit! I'm going to figure out if my grandfather is back myself, I mean he has to be better than you lot!" Masie yells
Madison has tears in her eyes and I open my arms for her to walk into
"Ofcourse, Maddie the favorite child has to be crying right now!" she says sarcastically
"That's it, your room. NOW" Mattheo screams and Masie stomps up the stairs and slams the door
"The nerve of that girl" Mattheo adds, disappointed
"I'm scared" maddie says
"There is nothing to worry about, ok? We're ok" I assure her
Mattheo shoots me a "Are you sure about that?" look but I move my eyes to Maddie signifying this was just to make her feel better and Mattheo nods
"Don't worry, ok?" Mattheo asks her
She just nods
~That night~
The kids were in bed and Mattheo and I were cuddling in our's
"Darling?" he asks me
"What's wrong love?" I answer
"I don't think it's safe to be in this manor during a time like this. Maybe we could temporarily stay somewhere else?" he asks
"But where?" I ask him
"We'll figure that out in the morning" he responds
"For now, get some sleep" he adds
"Goodnight"
"Love you"
