Don't try to salvage the numb heart,
It's been corroded too far,
It doesn't want your sorry's ,
Nor your words of love anymore.
It won't resent you,
Cause emotions been wrung out of it,
It will still smile and Console you,
Lifelessly and contemptly.
The being to keep itself alive,
Killed another's heart,
And then when you show a wooden face,
They call you heartless.
But baby, aren't you the one who made me like this?
Don't try to salvage the bud of love,
In a corroded numb heart,
Don't try to give it shocks,
Cause it's already shock resistant.
