the outing was going well so far , as they were now watching encanto for the nth time that week " oh my god IT WAS MY WEDDING DAY , WE WERE GETTING READY AND THERE WASNT A CLOUD IN THE SKY  " meilin yelled out of excitement as she stood up , every one except for junhao standing up as well

" BRUNO WALKS IN WITH A MISCHEVIOUS GRIN " they sang along , and junhao watched the friend group that was vibing continuously 

she felt a smile creep on her face ─ she admired their friendship real bad 

encanto was something she wanted to watch a lot with her friends , but they never had time for her anyways ─ they only turn to her if a problem happened

their friendship was going so well at first , until she was fifteen years old .

science period had ended ─ as the fifteen year old was walking excitedly to the gates with her backpack strip sliding on her left shoulder 

she was excited to meet her friends in the cafe that was near the school ─ knowing that they planned everything and her friends were in their first year of high school 

she went inside and found a table with three seats , and quickly went their before placing her bag in one chair and her exercise books were on another so that no one would sit on the reserved table 

' rats , i am in the cafe now '

she texted her friends and placed her phone on the table while she looked out the window to wait for a reply .

thirty minutes passed and then she received a message from gahyun 

' sorry junie we can't go today , we are tutoring a girl in our class '

frowning  ─  she  stood up from the seat and took her bag , throwing it on her shoulder while she harshly grabbed onto her books and phone , she understood that they would be busy but her anger had took control

why? because she saw them walking by happily with another girl when she received the text .

" they were my friends before they became yours "  junhao said with her eyes focused on the boba tea

it was junhao's seventeenth birthday and she was in the movie theatre ─ waiting for her friends to come 

she wanted to watch encanto with her friends so badly ever since it had got popular and released ─ and that day was the only chance they got 

she was wearing an off shoulder long sleeved white shirt with wide legged jeans , she wanted to look really good 

" oh come on the movie will start in seven minutes but they aren't still here " she muttered while checking the time 

an hour passed . and she was standing there outside like an idiot while getting wet in the rain 

junhao felt tears stream down her cheeks slowly as a notification dings on her phone ─ feeling worried she immediately checks it

' we won't be able to make it '

' minhee is going through a break up so we are comforting her '

" junhao? you alive? " asked jiwon who snapped her fingers infront of junhao's face , and when she went back to reality she realised something 

her eyes , they were bawling in tears

quickly wiping them , she looked at her surroundings and luckily no one else notices the scene " sorry i just got distracted " she mumbled before standing up 

she didn't even realise they were now going through a karaoke chaos with renjun singing the lyrics of boyfriend by dove cameron ─ which was more like him screaming it out as if he went through a break up

suddenly the mic got shoved infront of her face , and the mic owner seemed to be the one and only lee donghyuck 

" so junie what song do you want sing? any song is fine with us " renjun sake , holding the part two of the mic ─ basically the other mic

" itzy's mafia in the morning " she responded be for snatching the mic from yangyang's grip be for standing up

the music began , and junhao opened her eyes like those dramatic people on drama's before singing a song 

she started singing while hearing screams and cheers from th friend group which made her hide a smile and focus on finishing the song perfectly 

the rap part came and that made her became another junhao as she did the dance moves with her free hand .

the song ends which made her receive many compliments and she got lifted from the ground by a certain boy ─ getting thrown on his shoulders and spinning around

and that boy being lee jeno .
