A maiden's sonnet

You are the star that shines through the night,

Navigating the dark with your rays.

The one that helps me with all your might,

To guide my walks through the correct ways.

.

You warmed me during winter solstice,

Rejoiced with me in the equinox.

Pulled me when I drowned in the abyss,

Gazed with me at the heavenly rocks.

.

When I feel south, you're the southern cross

That formed in the night sky as my guide.

When I'm with you, I am not at loss;

The reason why Gaia gaily cried.

.

As long as 'tis written in the stars,

My love for you shall not go down far.
