seven

it's been a few weeks, maybe a month now, and things have been great. seokjin has gotten so much closer with everyone and he couldn't be happier. honestly, he's gotten a lot closer to taehyung then anyone else but they're all so close now.

well all of them except namjoon. he's still been trying to get namjoon to talk to him but the boy mainly ignores him and don't even acknowledge his presence sometimes unless he has to. he's always on the verge of giving up but then jimin or hoseok will tell him not to.

he doesn't know why but he just agrees just because they seem to really want him to be with namjoon.

anyways, taehyung and jia recently found out that she's pregnant again. this time it actually wasn't planned they said but of course they're happy about it. seokjin admires taehyung and jia's relationship so much. they're still so in love with each other and it's very noticeable. it's so cute. now they're going on baby number two and it'll only make their love grow so much stronger.

gosh, seokjin wants that so much. that's all he ever wanted was to just settle down and have his husband, or wife, and children be a family. maybe soon it'll happen for him.

"mr.kim!" seokjin heard and looked up only to see soobin coming his way. he smiled at the boy. soobin has also gotten a lot more comfortable with him over the weeks that's passed.

"what's up?" seokjin asked once soobin was in front of him.

"is it true that you like the principle!?" soobin asked and seokjin nervously chuckled. "everyone's been talking about it! they're saying that you have a big crush on the principal!"

"that's not something you should be talking about during school hours." seokjin said and soobin pouted.

"oh come on~ i tell you about me and yeonjun all the time!"

"but do i ask about you and yeonjun?" seokjin ask and soobin stays quiet. "exactly... and why is this rumor suddenly going around?"

"oh because someone said they saw you staring at the principal as if you liked him and they also heard you and mr.park talking about it."

"aish, you students are so nosey!" seokjin said and soobin just giggled. "get to where you need to be. I'll see you later." he say and soobin nod, walking off to most likely find yeonjun.

seokjin was ready to head to his class but then heard his name being called again. he knew that deep voice from anywhere. he turned and saw that it was namjoon standing there. he couldn't help but to blush a bit from the stare he was getting even though it looked like he was pissed off.

"my office. now." namjoon said then walked away. seokjin sighed and followed him to his office. he knew he was about to get in trouble.

once they got there, namjoon stood while seokjin sat down. he was kinda nervous because this is the first time that namjoon's anger and frustrations are actually directed towards him.

"care to explain to me why I'm hearing students talking about you having a crush on me?" namjoon said and although he kept a serious look on his face, seokjin could see a hint of blush on his cheeks. he's definitely not giving up now. seokjin stayed quiet though which made namjoon more upset. "are you not gonna say anything?"

"i... i don't know what you want me to say. i don't have anything to do with this." seokjin say and namjoon sighs, rubbing his temples. "you're making it seem like I'm the one who's going around telling students that i have a crush on you. what do you take me for? a child?" seokjin asked. he was getting upset himself because, why would he be going around telling his business to students? that's not something he would do.

"i don't know because you can be a bit childish at times."

"so me just wanting to make my classes more fun so my students could be comfortable with me is being childish?" seokjin asked but now this time namjoon didn't say anything. "you're unbelievable... if I'm here for you to just scold me or fire me, just get it over with. you obviously don't like me or want me around so i don't know why you still keep me here."

seokjin was getting tired of the attitudes and stuff he was always given. he hasn't done anything to namjoon but yet he's the only one who gets his angry side for no reason. it's pissing him off and it also hurts because he does like namjoon a lot but to only get this angry side of him when you've done nothing but be nice? it hurts a lot.

namjoon sighed. "I'm not firing you. you're actually a perfect fit for your position and i hear nothing but good reviews from teachers and students about you so..." namjoon say. "just... whatever this so called 'crush' is, you need to let it go and stop holding onto false hope because it's not happening." he said.

that didn't hurt seokjin's feelings at all. yes, he's totally fine.

no he's not.

it's like namjoon could see the very moment his heart broke and it did kinda hurt namjoon to see but he needs to be stern with seokjin for him to understand.

"yeah whatever." seokjin said, trying his hardest not to show that he was hurt by namjoon's words. "are you done? because i have a class to prepare for now."

"yes-" namjoon said but before he could say anything else, seokjin had already gotten up and was walking out of his office. he sighed as he finally sat down.

seokjin on the other hand was making his way back to his classroom. he was so tired of this attitude namjoon keeps giving him. ever since namjoon rejected him at taehyung's anniversary party, he hasn't came onto him strong or anything. he would only say hi or speak to him politely while in school so, for him to get attitude is just wrong. he don't care how bad namjoon's been hurt. that don't give him the right to treat seokjin like he's been treating him.

he got to his classroom only to see yoongi sitting on his desk. he sighed.

"if you're here to scold me, I'm not in the mood." seokjin said as he sat down. yoongi just looked at him confused.

"why would i scold you?" yoongi asked as he pulled a chair up and sat next to his hyung. he noticed the look on seokjin's face.

"i don't know... i just basically got told that I'm childish since students are going around saying that i have a crush on namjoon." seokjin said as he sighed.

"yeah i heard... not the childish part but the students going around saying you have a crush." yoongi said. "who called you childish?"

"namjoon... he made it seem like I'm the one telling students that i like him. what the fuck kinda person do he take me for?" seokjin said, getting angry. yoongi just rubbed his back, trying to calm him down.

"hyung, you don't need to be losing your cool right now. calm down okay?" yoongi said, his voice calm and gentle. seokjin just sighed as he took a few deep breaths. "I'll talk to namjoon but please calm down for me. go take a walk or take my keys and just go for a drive or something."

and that's what seokjin did while yoongi made his way to namjoon's office. namjoon is his friend too yes but, seokjin comes first before anyone. he's been very understanding of namjoon's situation but now namjoon is taking his anger out on his best friend and yoongi doesn't like that at all.

he knocked on the door and walked in, not even waiting for namjoon to tell him to come in.

"yoongi hyung. what's up-"

"i told you how seokjin is my best friend right?" was the first thing yoongi said. he don't care if he came off rude and harsh. namjoon just looked then nodded. "so, i don't like when he's upset over someone insulting him. you're my friend too joon-ah but, seokjin comes first. now, I've been very understanding of the situation between you and your ex, you know that, but don't take your anger out on seokjin when he hasn't done anything wrong to you." yoongi said. namjoon couldn't even say anything but just looked shocked. he's never seen this side of yoongi before.

"seokjin hyung is very sensitive no matter how much he tries to hide it so, your words hurt him a lot and everytime you're being mean and rude to him, guess what? it hurts him. everyday at home, he's asking me what can he do for you to stop treating him the way you are."

"I'm sorry." namjoon said.

"don't say sorry to me. say sorry to seokjin hyung." yoongi said and walked out of the office.
