Fan.
Being a fan is like a full time job for others who are a diehard for a certain idol/artist. It could be in Kpop, Ppop, Opm, or Pop. No matter what it is we can all still fangirl/boy over it.
Being a fan of an idol is fun. You'll meet unexpected people in your life that could potentially make your life better, you 4lyfers. People say it's weird that it's just a phase but for many people it's home, it's comfort.
But of course like everything else it also has rules. Like don't meddle with private life, don't gatekeep, appreciate them, etc. And there is this one unspoken rule: never fall for them romantically. Yes, you can love them. Have an idol-fan relationship.
But once you genuinely fall for them that's your cue to stop. Stay away until it fades. Cause no matter what you do, you will always be viewed by them as just one of their fans.
I've seen many confessions from The Unsent Messages Project. Confessions of how they found them as a lovable person. Someone easy to fall inlove to.
Them just posting, smiling, and being happy is enough for these fans to be grateful. They love them but they know that they're just fans and will always just be fans.
Even though they know them, they are still strangers. A perfect qoute is "So far yet so near"
