:: A Noakah Oneshot au wherein Jakah and Noa are seatmates in class, and Jakah gets bored during one of their lectures and decides to entertain himself with Noa, a someone who he knows who is introverted, rarely socializes with other people and is a person of a few words.

NOTE: Jakah and Noa's personalities are all from my imagination. Some events in this Oneshot might be from the Webtoon and some from my imagination too. Hope that helps my beloved readers!

Boredom

It's Thursday night in Decelis Academy, and classes and lectures are underway

The hallways are empty and silent, pens writing down notes, the words about the lecture spilling out from their teacher's lips– and here lays Jakah, just sitting in his seat bored with a pen twirling in between his fingers so that he'd at least be entertained through this boring lecture

Ugh, for the love of the heavens how Jakah hates this lecture right now. If he were to be honest, all those words are just going in and out of his ears. It's just passing by and Jakah doesn't even have the motivation to divulge those words into his brain at the moment due to how boring the situation he's in as of now

I mean, sure Jakah could call himself smart at times. Thanks to him, their group have dodged several bullets thanks to him and his strategizing skills; he's a born intellectual strategist. He always was

Even Heli couldn't even win against him in chess. Although he'd try to read his mind with telepathy, it would only take a few seconds for Jakah to notice before warning the older to not read his mind with telepathy. And all Heli would do is just flinch and apologize right after– by then, he'd already be stuck in a corner since Jakah would've already said Checkmate and push him off guard

Or even if it was just thinking of protection for their friends during a crucial moment, Jakah could say that he is smart. Though he may not look like it from the outside, he's not dumb nor dense headed at all

But at this moment right now, all Jakah would want to do is just walk out of this very classroom right now and just get on with nightball practice early instead

The more he tries to listen, the more bored and depleted his energy goes. Jakah could point it out, just a little bit more and he's so close to just zoom himself out of the room in just a blink of an eye– like the way he did with Sooha when they ditched out from those hoard of Vampires during their hangout at the square last weekend

Well, despite meeting the wolves he and Noa had met last time when they first met Sooha and went all the way to her dorm with Heli, the hangout wasn't that bad anyways– wait. Did he just mention Noa?

Jakah immediately halted as he croons. He processed it in his head for a little while before reacting, why didn't he think about Noa? Argh Jakah, at times you can be a bit stupid and I, myself can't disagree more! He ranted to himself while wrecking silent havoc to only his old self in his seat

Jakah turned to his left to see Noa just simply writing down some notes unto his notebook, his other hand supporting his chin with his lightly green orbs stuck themselves focused on his writing

Jakah sighs, he almost forgot that he and Noa were in the same class and were also seatmates– let alone teammates and also key players in their nightball team

Placing his chin unto the palm of his hand, Jakah just stared at the younger busied with writing down on his notes. Noa doesn't really talk a lot nor even interacts a lot with other people other than them, unlike him whose the literal social butterfly of their group like Shion and Jino
