Charlie was over the moon. He was going out with someone. He was going out with Nick Nelson. The popular "Rugby Lad".

Charlie had been crushing over Nick for a long time. Many months. Now, they have been together for a few days, yet it feels like it has been like this the whole time.

Nick wanted to figure things out first, before they told people about them, and Charlie respected that. He would never want to ruin this chance with Nick because he was practically already in love with him.

Charlie was comfortable around Nick. A feeling he did not experience when dating Ben, if you can even call it dating. Nick makes him laugh and is interested in Charlie.

Charlie did not even care that Nick wanted to keep it a secret. He likes Nick so much; he would probably do anything for him. He only wants Nick.

Charlie is listening to Miss Singh explain what they are doing in their Rugby practise today. Charlie was getting more confident with his playing. Charlie caught the ball which Nick threw back to him. Before he could even register the fact that he was holding the ball, Christian and Sai were charging at him and tackled him. He felt his right ankle roll backwards as he fell to the ground.

"CHARLIE!!" Nick shouted, "Are you okay??"

Charlie felt Nicks hand slide into his own and help his to stand up.

He felt wobbly as he tried to step forward. He fell onto Nick who caught him then swung his arm over his shoulder for support.

Charlie felt Nick's arm wrap around his waist as he shouted an excuse to Miss Singh. He was led by Nick into the changing rooms. Nick left and came back with an ice pack.

Charlie was grateful for Nick. He thought he would have wanted to be a lot more distant while at school, but Nick assured him that he wants to do this.

Charlie was lying on the grass listening to Nick. Listening to Nick babble on about Harry's party. Reminiscing on their first kiss. How else it could have panned out. How Charlie had been so brave to make the first move.

Charlie wasn't even slightly bored. He was enjoying every moment he had with Nick.

He watched Nick as he called Nellie over and cuddled into her.

Charlie has been going out with Nick for a few weeks now. He felt Nick was getting more comfortable with him and opening up more. But still, no one knew about their relationship. Well, apart from Ollie. Maybe.

They hadn't been overly trying to hide their relationship. They acted the same as they usually would except less hugging and kissing.

Charlie always made sure Nick was okay with whatever they were doing.

Harry would always be sending homophobic comments to Charlie whether he was there or not. Charlie was okay with this though. Nick was always there to help him, even though he was used to it.

Charlie was trying to do his biology homework when Nick came around to his house. Nick brought his work to finish off as well.

About half an hour later, they ended up cuddling to watch a movie on Charlie's laptop.

Charlie had gotten bored of his homework and Nick had finished. So instead of continuing, Charlie offered to put on a movie.

Charlie could not focus on the movie either. He was too busy staring at Nick.

Later, Charlie said goodbye to Nick.

"He definitely likes you back," came a voice from behind Charlie.

"Jesus Tori!"

Charlie was snapped out of his daze by Tao.

"Are you thinking about Nick again?"

Silence.

"You must stop. He is so straight it's like why even bother."

Charlie knew Tao could no be further from the truth.

Normally Charlie does not like when people assume things about others, but right now, he was okay with not correcting Tao, because he respected that Nick was figuring things out right now. He cared more about Nick, then proving he was right.
