CHAPTER 2

"How much?"

"You fucking asshole!" I shouted at his face and runaway, bakit ako naiiyak. My tears kept falling from my eyes as I ran towards nowhere, hindi ko alam kung saan ako papunta, my sight is already blurry because of my tears and my heart is aching with so much anger.

I'm so mad at him, that I despise him to hell, so my heart is aching because of an angry heart attack.

How dare he steal my first kiss!

Habang tumatakbo patungo sa hindi malamang lugar, natigilan ako ng may nakabangga ako. Agad akong yumuko para iwasan ito at hindi makita ang pag iyak ko.

I was expecting it to be a stranger but it's not, "Evi?" it's the demon's brother, the angel sent from above, very different from his brother.

"Are you crying?" Zign gently asked, before he could reach my chin and check on my face, I already hugged him really tight, hid my face on his chest and spoke. "No, napuwing lang ako and I lost my way," alam kong hindi kapanipaniwala ang sinabi ko, lalo na't sobrang talino ni Zign para maniwala doon pero sinubukan ko pa 'rin.

Ito lang 'rin naman ang alam kong paraan para hindi niya mahalata kung ano talaga ang nangyari.

Agad niya akong niyakap pabalik, at kahit sa isang haplos niya pa lang sa buhok ko, ramdam ko na kaagad ang comfort na dala niya simula nung bata pa ako. He never fails to calm me, whenever his brother is making my blood boil.

"Evi, what's the problem?" malambot at puno ng pag-iingat niyang tanong, I continue sobbing as I cry. Dahan-dahan siyang lumayo sa akin at marahan na hinawakan ang aking mga braso.

He was like holding a fragile glass as he touches me on my arms, ibang-iba sa paghawak ni Zion sa akin kanina. Zign and Zion are really contrary.

They could never be the same when it comes to their attitude, perspective in life, and in careers. Zion is a total mess while Zign is the opposite meaning of mess. Everything that is right is his.

"Come no, tell me, what's wrong?" dahil matangkad siya, he even leaned down a bit just to level with my face and check on me. He gently wiped my tears using his thumb.

When I look at him, I stop when he stares at me for a second before, he raises the side of his lips in the most charming way, he smiles like an angel, "Are you laughing at me Zign? Seriously?" I ask with sarcasm in my tone.

"Shhh, you're so pretty, I can't help smiling at you," my heart skip a beat, my lips even parted dahil sa banat na iyon. I instantly purse my lips to control my smile. Why is he so good at playing with his words?

He's making my heart melt, "You're such a tease, napuwing lang talaga ako," I said and rolled my eyes at him, he chuckled and messed with my hair. "Don't make me worry that much again, ok, now smile," he said and finches my face and forces a wide smile on me.

"Hey!" I said and we both laughed, "I think we already seized the night; you should go home and rest," he said.

"I agree," he just easily calms the mood, "Before the night ends, can I give you a hug? Your 18th birthday hug from Capt. Zign, this is limited edition," he said with that undeniably heartthrob smile.

I'm sure lahat ng flight attendant sa airlines niya, inlove sa kanya. He could just make everyone melt in just one smile. My heart is beating crazy for him.

I suddenly felt irritated imagining those girls, acting so flirty around him. "I should enjoy the limited edition then?" I said with a bright smile. He nodded and chuckled when I jumped into him.
