Reborn as my love rival's wife is a hidden gem of a romance novel. And trust me, I've read my fair share. We get to see Su Jian, the MC, slowly progress from loathing An Yizhe to accepting him to liking him to admitting "okay I guess I've fallen in love with my love rival 囧囧".

Through this journey, the romance is cute and sweet (and can get a little r-rated sometimes). What really sells this book though, is the comedy. Su Jian always has me cracking up, whether it be with his frank remarks, internal monologue, or imaginary scenarios. Whatever situation is thrown at Su Jian, he always handles it in the most bizarre and hilarious manner.

What do you do when girls are hitting up your beloved An Yizhe? Normally, people would shoo them away, or say, "Sorry he's taken." Instead, Su Jian strikes up the brilliant notion of calling out to An Yizhe, saying, "Honey, let's go to the hospital to check the results of your AIDS test. Whether it's positive or negative, I'll still love you." As expected, the girls scamper away.

Really, Su Jian is the highlight of the story. He is a 28-year-old computer technician who loves video games. He is a bonafide male who lusts after pretty girls (sadly he never got with one). Well, he was all that, until "he" became a "she". Regardless, Su Jian is straightforward and a little dimwitted, but charming nonetheless. Even if you don't like gender bender, this novel is worth a shot. Personally, I'm not too into boy/boy love stories but this book was worth it. It's kind of like how even if you don't like science fiction, Ender's Game is still worth a go. My only complaint is: WHY CAN'T THIS BE LONGER?

I died reading this story. Out of all the cnovels I've read, this one wins in the comedic side. But it's also a hell lot entertaining HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I loved its concept, I wished there were more stories like this (btw if you do know, please kindly save my soul and comment the title-) anyways because I couldn't find any more stories like it, I just reread it several times. And each time, I was never bored. If you're looking for a damn good time, THIS IS IT!
