2 months ago when you and yeji planned for her to go visit chicago in november with you and your mom it seemed like a good, well thought out, and exciting plan. but now, there were some complications

you knew seowon would be bitching about it now that it was getting closer. what if he took it as far as making her stay here? no, he doesn't have that authority. her plane ticket is already bought. her mom and dad are the ones that let her go, not him

you guys talked on the phone about it a bit as it was approaching but every time you did it was interrupted by a call from seowon

yeji felt bad of course, but she was tired of fighting with him all the time. it had her exhausted from staying up late arguing almost every day. she didn't want to keep drifting further from you, but she didn't want to deal with whatever would follow if she ignored seowons calls to talk to you

she was seeing you less and less and talking to you less and less. she hated it and she hated what seowon was doing and that she couldn't stop it. she felt helpless. she felt weak. she felt like she was betraying you. but even with him taking it so far, the one thing yeji knew was that no matter what he said or did she would never cut you off for him. she would never pick him over you if asked. she knew that. and she really hoped that you knew that too.
