"Is this the kid you've been talking about?" Eric voiced
I looked at Alex
"Yeah"
"What's his name?"
"Alex"
"How old is he?"
"Like, 17 probably"
"Where's you find him?"
"Another dimension"
"...yeah"
He looked at Alex up and down and smiled. It wasn't a sincere one but it was still a smile and I don't think Alex has talked with any other human much to even process that wasn't a good 'real' smile
"Well? Can we come in" I said, as I blink quickly to portray fluttering my eyelashes to him jokingly
".."
"You wouldnt say no to me, would you.." as I blinked faster, but stopped for a moment since the motion gave me a headache, just for me to continue it again
"..fine"
"Atta-boy!!"
"But ONLY CAUSE' this kid's with you, you got it?"
"Sure fine"
As I took off my shoe sloppily and almost tripped over while fixing the position of it by the rack, I urged Alex to do the same
"Do I need to take off my shoe too?" He asked, looking at Eric
"No actually, you don't have too, he's just a weirdo"
