"Nobody shaves in the bullet train on the way to their best friend's wedding!" Ran said to him. Kana and Conan are eating their bento peacefully
"It's not my fault!" Kogoro retorted "I overslept 'cuz I was up late last night discussing things with a client!"
"Oh, please. You got drunk and fell asleep in the doorway!" Ran said with a deadpan expression. Kogoro looks away at her with a scoff while he is trying to fix his tie. He's basically sulking.
"I brought you along 'cuz you wanted to come, but I dunno why..." -Kogoro
"But the wedding's in Kyoto! Both of you really wanted to go there too, didn't you, Conan-kun? Kana-chan?" -Ran
"Yeah," they say at the same time
"Why did we have to bring them along anyway?!" -Kogoro
"You know we can't leave them all alone!" Ran yelled at her father "Say, are those new shoes?" Ran asked Conan when she notice it
"Yeah! Professor Agasa gave it to me!" he said as he remembered the unique things the shoes and the glasses can do
'I hope they actually work when I need them to!' Conan thought while fixing his glasses
"You look so pretty Kana-chan! Oh! Did you design that heels?" Ran said to the pretty princess
"Yeah! It is really easy since it's already molded. And I have a great fashion sense!" Kana replies with a smile

The peaceful breaks when the rowdy little kids entered the scene.
"A bullet train!" they yelled in excitement
"But why are they with us too?!" Kogoro whines, again
"Why does it matter? Their tickets have been paid for" Ran choked him with his tie
