When Conan heard that, he froze with a look of shock on his face. "So you are... You are really Shinichi?" Ran stuttered

"W-what are you saying, Ran-nee-chan? My name is Conan... Conan" Conan said, in panic. He slightly backed away when Ran suddenly stood up "What are you saying?" Conan laughed nervously 'Crap! She found out! If those guys find out that I'm really Kudo Shinichi, they will definitely come after me. If that happens, Kana, Ran, and the others will be in danger. I need to do something'

Before he can even move, Kana moved to put them out of the problem "Cool, it's a game man!" Kana picked up the toy "And look! There's even Yaiba's adventure"

"O-okay. I guess I'll just keep playing then" he looked at the screen again and then noticed a name, the same as Kana "Ogino Tomoya?" Conan mumbled "Dr. Ogawa's son is named Yuuta. You would usually put in your name or the name of a character you like for these things"

"Wait... Ogino Tomoya" Kana also mumbled when she heard the name come out of Conan's mouth "I've heard this name before" she gasped and ran back to the records

'There it is!' she thought 'Ogino Tomoya, 5 years old. He passed away after Dr. Ogawa operated on him, 3 years ago on February 19th'

Conan looked at what she was looking at and then had the same realization 'So that letter means that...'

"Ran!" Conan yelled at the dazed and blushing girl "Bring Dr. Ogawa here as soon as possible! Hurry up! There is no time"

'It has to be him. The way he talks acts, and solves problems. He has to be Shinichi. There is no doubt about it' Ran thought while running to call her dad and the doctor

"It's most likely... to be the parent of the child named Ogino Tomoya" Conan showed the record

"Ogino Tomoya?!" he grabbed the record from Conan "Oh! This boy died 3 years ago from appendicitis"

"You can die from appendicitis?" -Kogoro
