Malenia could remember all too well who it was that had killed her. He had dodged every attack, and every thing after that. All he wore was a loin cloth and a pot on his head. Even Scarlet aeonia didn't affect him. He had killed her.
Malenia found herself in a dark void, she couldn't see anything, but she could feel the ground under her feet. She was confused, she had always been told about the afterlife and how it was supposed to be better than the waking world. But here, it was emptyness.
"Seems right for someone like me I guess" Malenia thought to herself.
Malenia sat on the ground and waited. she didn't know how long she was waiting for but eventually she felt something change. She couldn't tell what it was but it almost felt like a light breeze. She turned and faced where it was coming from, only to see a bright light. It was blinding, she could barely make out trees through the brightness.
Malenia stood up and slowly walked closer, her shoes making a quiet thudding on the ground. As Malenia approached the light, she felt something pulling her onward. Suddenly, Malenia fell forward and landed on some grass.
Malenia looked up and found she was in a forest. Next to her was her helmet as well as her blade. She took a deep breath, and another, and another. The air here, it was so much cleaner than that of the Scarlet Rot infested swamp she was in previously. Malenia stood up slowly, unsure of the reality of this situation.
"Am I dead? No, this feels too real for that" Malenia thought.
Malenia grabbed her helmet and sword. She placed her helmet on her head, and her sword on her back. She started walking deeper into the forest, intent on finding some form of civilization. Her prosthetic limbs made a slight creaking noise as she walked. As she walked she couldn't help but notice a nearby stream, and in it's reflection, she almost shed a tear.
She walked over and kneeled down near it. Her body showed no signs of the Scarlet Rot. She reached a shaking hand up to her helmet, and took it off. She was back to normal. Before the Scarlet Rot had taken hold of her body. She set her helmet down next to her, and fixed her hair, using the reflection as a mirror. As she fixed her hair, a few butterfly's landed on her.

Malenia was happy, but she couldn't lose focus of her current goal. She stood up and the butterfly's took flight, but they stayed nearby. As she walked, she couldn't help but note how beautiful the forest around her was. She was captivated by it. But something moving ahead of her made her stop. It was a black mass, but as it stood, she could make out a humanoid wolf. It growled at her but Malenia simply drew her sword. A few more of them came out of the surrounding woods, but Malenia wasn't worried. Nothing could compare to her anger at being defeated. This was just a release.
Malenia out her helmet back on her head as the creatures charged. She then flipped over them and spun with a wide slash. This hit two of them and caused them to be split in two. One tried to rush her from the side but Malenia had seen it and spun around, hitting it with a round house kick that was strong enough to make the wolf do a spin before hitting the ground.
