I woke up from a dream
Where i was free
Living with the trees living the dream
Rushing through the crunchy leaves
Hunting...
What a vicious animal i had been...
I feel a tingling sensation on my head
And when i stand up,
I felt like i had a tail,
only,
invisible?
I touch it
Oh it's phantom
You can't see it but you can feel it
Oh these phantom limbs have got me in tears
I'm burning up all the pages of my fears
Oh phantom limbs
Hopes and dreams are lost,
Only memories
Have stayed
Oh what a wonderful life it had been
When i had my limbs

I imagined myself
Running through the fields
As i looked out the window
The view, it heals

It heals my soul
I felt like that's where i belonged
Free, alive
No human responsibilities
No more tears to cry

I'm burning up all the pages of my hopes and dreams and all of my fears
Just so i could have my phantom limbs
