Licorice slowly opened his eyes wincing at the sudden bright glow of the sun he covered his eyes to from the sudden brightness.

Licorice sat up and he's pet cat also woke up and licked his face "Mornin' Bat Cat..."He pet Bat Cat's head Licorice took the blanket off him and got out of bed to get some change his clothes.

Licorice POV

I opened my closet and quickly got my binder got some of clothes I quickly put them on I walked up to the mirror and grabbed my brush I brushed my hair.

As I was done I quickly grabbed my phone I looked down to my chest it was flat I smiles slightly.

I walk down the stairs to feed my dog I saw Schwarzwälder on his little bed I got some dog food from the closet opened it and out it on his food bowl.

Schwarzwälder immediately woke up and started scrambling to the food bowl.

"Morning Licorice"I heard my Dad said tiredly "Morning Dad!Had another busy night?"I greeted him.

"Yup now go eat your breakfast before it gets cold"He ruffled my hair and went to the couch.

I walked up to the table and ate my breakfast and looked at my phone.

'First Day of School Ugh it's just gonna be like last year...'I rolled my eyes
and scrolled through my phone.

After I was done eating I washed my dish and grabbed by bag as I was walking out my father quickly spoke "Licorice..." "Hm?"

"Be safe"

I smiled "Bye Dad love ya!"I walk out the door and saw the bus I quickly walked up to the bus.

The bus was bit crowded almost every seat was filled with other students.

Cranberry,Blueberry seated next to each other Bumbleberry seated behind the two Princess next to her best friend conversing over each other.

Raspberry and her cousin behind the two and down other students I don't know.

I walk to the seat behind the bus and I saw someone.

Red Velvet.

I gulped a bit I slowly walk toward to the seat "E-Excuse me d-do you mind if you move p-please?"I stuttered out God I hate my stutter.

He let's out an annoyed sigh and scooted some space for me "Th-thank you!"I quickly thanked him and sat down.

Cranberry looked back and shot a glare at me before turning away.

I looked out the window to clear my head on want happened.

The bus finally made it to school and the other students began walking out.

I got out and saw Affogato walking towards me "Hello Licorice"He said with a smirk I blushed "H-hi"

"I saw you near Red Velvet..."Affogato said sternly which confused me a bit then it hit me "I'm not cheating on you or anything I just needed a place to seat.."I mumbled.

"Good"He said grabbing my arm and dragging me inside.

As we both made it they're he let go of my arm "I have to go now see ya.."He waved goodbye "S-see you..."I got to my locker.

I opened it to get my books while doing that I was ease dropping on the students conversation.

"Did you hear a new student is coming..''

''I saw him in the school bus!"
