Chapter 1 - Witch Way should I Go?
"Fair is foul, and foul is fair "
- Macbeth by William Shakespeare
POV - Ellemera

I am going mad, how could this all happen? Everything was going just as I planned. I can not let anything spoil my master plan. This is the only thing I have ever desired in my life. I will turn river water bloody. They don't know me enough. I need a solution. And the only person who can help me now is Her.
I run to the place where my beloved horse, Marquis, is standing. "You are the most loyal of them all, my love, I wish you were human.", I mumble this in his ears and run my hand over his hair and black shiny skin.
Behind me, they all are shouting, calling me back. Especially the person who is the reason for my insanity. They no more get to tell me what to do.
I climb over Marquis and pull his reins.
"Neinghhh" and he starts galloping, we cut through bushes and go deep into the forest. I have to reach there before sunset. The sunrise in Engaston will be different.
As we cut through the bushes I feel as if I am a swimmer going against the water current. Like I have to put an extra effort to go to that bloody place. I remember how I told her that I will not come back to her ever again. But how could I not? She is the only family I truly have. It's been months since I last saw her. Ever since I can remember, this is the longest we have been without each other.
After riding for a long time, I reach that dreaded land just before the sunset.
The beautiful yet scary house is in front of me. All the memories come back rushing. The last one being the most hurtful of them all. I jump down from Marquis and put his reins around one fence stick loosely. I know he loves me too much to go anywhere away from me.
I look up at the house again. So green that it is almost camouflaged in the greens of the jungle.
The white fences look bright and clean because of the rain that occurred in the early hours, today morning. The brick red color of the house is now a little faded. The swing on the front porch is moving because of the winds blowing from the west.
I go near the porch and I know that this is my defining moment, whatever will happen tomorrow will be a consequence of today. I have two options right now, one, that I go in, confess whatever I have done, and together we find a solution. Two, I run back to Marquis and go back to Engaston and do all the violent and brutal things I have been imagining during my ride.
But I think like a leader, a king, not like some blood-hungry psycho today.
I climb the steps, go towards the door, and knock on the door.
I wait, wait, and wait. No one shows up.
I knock again, harder this time.
She comes running, I hear her footsteps. This is it.
The door creaks open and there is she, wearing a beautiful blue gown, dressed so properly as if she is going to a tea party. Looking like royalty. Her hair is tied in a ponytail and decorated with fresh flowers from the garden. She is holding a teacup, so yes, seems like she was having a tea party of her own.
She looks up at me in horror. Obviously like anyone, she too did not expect me to show her my face after 8 months.
"Shelly? " She is the only one who gets to call me Shelly. "What are you doing here? Why is there blood on your dress?"
"I am in trouble."
"An impulsive idiot like you is always in trouble, and owing to your current condition, anyone would say that you are in trouble, so stop beating around the bushes and tell me what has brought you to me again after so many days?"
"Can I come in?"
"Well, you didn't ask for my permission before going out, so do whatever you want."
I know this is going to be one hell of a sarcastic evening

I confess to her everything, except him.
"You know you can't hide anything from me. You are not that old yet" she says.
"I am not hiding anything from you" I look down as I lie to her. I know if she looks into my eyes, I will not be able to hide anything from her.
She rises from her seat in front of me, and comes near to me. She holds up my chin, and makes me look into her eyes forcefully. When my eyes meet hers, I know, that this is it, I have to tell her about him. Damn her compelling eyes.
"Tell me Shelly, what happened?"
"It all happened when..." I don't complete my sentence.
"When?" She pushes me further.
"When the swords clashed"
