After the weekend was over I had my first day at the high-school
I wonder if I'll meet jasper again.
Bella said she's starting to so there was nothing to worry about we'd just stay together
I woke up and changed (pic above) and went downstairs to get toast or something
I saw Charlie there "Hey Charlie" I say
"Hey kiddo excited for school?" He asked reading hid newspaper
"Yeah" I say bells came downstairs grabbed a piece of my toast and left.
"Wh- hey!" I say
"Hurry up or I'm leaving without you" she said
"Rude" I say leaving the house
We walk out into the school when a boy walks up to us
"You're Isabella Swan and Eliza Martin right? the new girls. Hi i'm Eric. The eyes and ears of this place. Anything you need. Tour guide, lunch date, shoulder to cry on."
Bella just looks at me with a Is he for real? Face on
"We're kind of the "suffer in silence" type." I say
"Good headline for your feature, I'm on the paper, and you're news, baby, front page." Eric said
"I -- no, we arent news -- I'm, seriously," Bella said
"not at all" I said
"Whoa, chillax. No feature." He said
"Would you mind just pointing us toward Mr. Varner's class?" I ask
He leads the away, enjoying the attentive stares, as we cringes from them
"You've missed a lot of the semester," Eric said "but I can hook you up - tutor, cliff
notes, medical excuse..." I stopped listening from then
We had p.e and we were doing volleyball while the guys were doing basketball
Bella looked uncomfortable and I was too but I was competitive so I didn't care
Bells ended up hitting someone
And had a conversation with them
"Yo bell you coming back to lose or what?!" I shout to her
She chuckled at me and so did a few who heard
"Shut up I'm coming" she said
I turn around and see jasper chuckling at what I said
We make eye contact and I nodded as a hello to him
He did it back
After is was lunch
We changed back and went for food when we went to sit down eric steered us to his table.
"Mike, you met my home girl Bella. This is Eliza" Eric said
"It's ellie" I say
"Your home girl?" Mike asked
A girl names Jessica turned to us "It's first grade all over again, and you're the shiny new toy."
Then all of a sudden I flash came our way
"Sorry, needed a candid for the feature" Angela said
"Feature's dead, Angela. Don't bring it up again." Eric said harshly then turned to me "I got your back, baby." I made a face.
JASPERS POV
I heard what the stupid boy said and was furious but luckily she wasn't interested
ELLIES POV
Angela was somewhat disappointed "Guess we'll just run another editorial on
teen drinking." She said
"Sorry. There's always eating disorders,
or Speedo padding on the swim team or ellie songs--" Bella slipped out my eyes widened
"Wait, that's a good one" Angela said
"You sing" Mike said
"Of course she does she amazing at it too. Didn't I tell you?" Eric said confidently
"Eric sorry to burst your bubble but you didn't even know until now and you have no chance with me. And yes I do sing but that's for me and myself" I say
"Cmon" angela begged
"Sorry go with speedo padding or how shoulders aren't distracting it's just men" I say
"Wait can we do a piece like that?" Angela asked
"It's controversial enough for me" Eric said
"I'll get right on it" Angela said
Bella get distracted and I follow her gaze.
It was jasper and his family.
"Who are they?" Bells asked
"The Cullens" Jessica started "Doctor and Mrs. Cullen's foster kids. They all moved down here from Alaska two years ago."
"They keep to themselves a lot" Angela added
"Because they're all together.
Like, together together. The
blonde girl, Rosalie, and the big dark-haired guy, Emmett..." She started "they're a thing. I'm not even
sure that's legal."
"Jess they aren't actually related" Angela said
"But they live together. And the little dark haired girl, Alice, she's really weird..." Jessica started "she was with Jasper, the blonde who looks like he's in pain. I mean, Dr. Cullen's like this foster
dad slash match maker. Rumors say they broke up because they werent actually inlove and he loves another girl and alice likes another guy"
"I'm sure Alice is sweet and jasper doesn't look like he's in pain all the time I mean yesterday he was perfectly fine" I say
"Wait you spoke to him?" Jessica said
"Yea? He helped we with a few notebooks I dropped when moving in" I say
"What is he like?" Angela said
"I don't know he was charming? He knows manners?" I say confused "why is this a big deal?"
"How did he introduce himself?' Eric asked
"He said his name was jasper?" I chuckled confused
"No way he just introduced himself like that?" Jessica said
"What's wrong with that?" I ask
"He's a weirdo he would never!" Jessica said clearly jealous
"You don't believe me?" I ask
"No I dont" she said
"Fine" I say smirking getting up and walking past the cullens table
While I walked by I said "Hey jasper"
"Hi Eliza" He said back smirking slightly
I walk out of the school and look right at Jessica. And put my middle fingers up. Bella giggled as all the others try to stiffle their laughing.
JASPERS POV
When I walked into the cafeteria my eyes immediately went to Eliza. No one noticed except Alice who just smiled.
I over heard their conversation.
She sings..... she defends people who she hasn't met and doesn't care how I act around others. Then she started walking to us and said hi.
I said hello back and smiled
....she's bold too
I turn back and she her putting her middle finger up and Jessica and I hide my smile.
"I like her" emmet said knowing she will end up being his best friend.
