STEPHANIE JONES. People called her Hawkins Sweetheart, although she wasn't so nice around people she was comfortable with.

If you knew the girl properly, she was quite sarcastic.

If you didn't know her well, and she didn't know you well, she was a bright, bubbly girl. Absolutely kind to anyone. Unless you give her a reason to be rude. There was Steph that her friends and family knew, and then there was Stephanie that her teachers and peers knew.

She was kind (most of the time), bubbly, artistic, and had quite the musical ear.

Did I mention she was very gifted?

Most people knew she would never, ever. Be seen without her Walkman or some sort of source to be able to hear music.

Who knew it would be such an important part of everyone in the days to come.

The young girl ran around her house looking for her lip gloss.

"Georgia! I'm going to kill you!" She screamed, running down the stairs of the family home. Georgia got up from her place in the family kitchen, "What are you on about? I haven't got the slightest clue -"

"You have my cherry lip gloss." She said at once, without a stutter. Pointing a finger out.

"Do not!"

"Georgia, it's on your lips." She deadpanned.

The second eldest child raised her hand up to Steph, but Steph did the exact same to Georgia back, causing the lights starting to flicker.

Georgia began to lose her balance, and Stephanie grinned. "Give it up! I've won! Give it!" Georgia shook her head. "No!"

"Girls!" Spoke, Mr. Jones. "Stop it. Right now," He said before looking at the two. "You should know better, Stephanie! What was this all about!?" He questioned just as Mrs. Jones came down the stairs.

"Georgie has my lip gloss mum bought me!" Steph said, pointing towards the blonde haired sibling. "Yeah, but mum bought you loads! You can at least share!"

"It's the only cherry one, you div -"

"Girls! That's enough. Georgia, give back your sisters lip gloss before she decides the plants are a good thing to use in defence." Mrs. Jones said, putting a hand to her head. "And Steph, look after your stuff more." Mrs. Jones thick English accent came across stern.

Steph's month hung wide open. "Look after my stuff? She literally went in my room and got it -"

"That's enough. Now get to school. The lot of you" Mrs. Jones called out to the last Jones. Sibling that was sat in the living room.

As she walked up to the doors of Hawkins High School, she had already been greeted by very few.

A few jocks that stood hyping themselves up, and a few cheerleaders. This was causing her to look away from those who were in front of her. Like Dustin Henderson.
