"Toya-chan!" Izuku exclaimed when he got home from a busy day at elementary school. He had rushed through the front door as soon as it was unlocked and dashed straight to the guest room that was converted into Toya's room.

Toya had only been there for a few days, but he was already so much more grateful for this small family than anyone else in his life.

Toya waited for Izuku to knock on his door before coming in and peeking over the bed that Toya was laying on.

"Hey Izuku" Toya greeted quietly, watching as the five year old stood a little taller so Toya could see the bright smile that matched his bright green eyes.

"Hi!" Izuku said before trying to climb up onto the bed so he could sit next to Toya. He fell off a few times before he finally managed to steady himself and made it to the top. Toya knows he could've helped the younger boy, but he found the determination on his face adorable - something he would never admit out aloud much less show it on his face.

"Kacchan's coming over for dinner today. Did you want to play with us?" Izuku asked hopefully, his eyes begging for the eleven year old to say yes.

Toya looks at the boy with a hint of confusion. Someone one was coming over?

He knew no one was required to tell him anything, but a heads up might've been nice, that way he would've been prepared to avoid the newcomers at all costs. But now, here is Izuku practically begging for him to play with them.

What do five year olds even do for fun? Board games? Toya honestly had no idea what to answer. When he was five he all he ever had time for was learning how to get in touch with and control his quirk. Lot of good it did him in the long run.

"Please Toya-chan! It'll be so much fun!" Izuku promised with shiny puppy dog eyes.

Toya sighed before finally giving in and agreeing to play with Izuku and his friend. He wasn't too thrilled at the idea of playing with two five year olds, but he just didn't know how to say no to the kid when he looked at him like that.

"YAY!" Izuku cheered as he hopped off of the bed and rushed out the door, presumably to tell Inko.

Toya flopped back down a bit. His arms were beginning to hurt.

Toya made his way out of his room not too much later, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he peeked his head around the corner of the hallway.

"Oh, there you are, Toya," Inko greeted from the kitchen when she spotted the boy in the hallway. "Could you help me honey?"

"Um, sure" the boy mumbled as he stuffed his hands in his pockets before making his way to the woman.

"Could you help, Izuku? He's trying to help with the vegetables but is still learning how to use a knife" the mother explained as she prepared dinner.

Toya didn't exactly know why Inko thought he knew how to properly use a knife, but he guessed he could at least help and make sure Izuku didn't accidentally cut himself.

As soon as he walked into the kitchen though, he just knew he had to take the knife away from the boy before he accidentally stabbed his own hand.

"Can I see the knife, Izuku?" Touya asked, already reaching to take the sharp object away from the startled boy.

"Touya-chan! Did you want to help me? I'm almost done!" The five year old exclaimed, pointing to the mangled pile of vegetables gathered on the cutting board. Touya nodded, moving Izuku out of the way before continuing to cut the remaining veggies and trying to make the already cut ones look more edible.
