"Krista!" I bumped into Ate Jana recently. "Oh, have you heard about a restaurant? I'm taking Pablo...gusto mo bang mauna?"
"Sure, I'll see you there na lang."
When she left, I went to my car and started my engine, as I was about to park in front of the restaurant, a small crash on my rear bumper engaged. I quickly took my medicine then went out. My heart was jammed again, I can't stand high emotions.
I angrily looked at the guy who crashed my car.
"Miss! Okay ka lang?" Tanong nito at tinignan ako for injuries. "Sorry! I got super distracted."
"What the hell!? Bakit ka distracted eh you're driving!?" Sigaw ko, causing attention.
"I'll pay for the damages." Sabi nito.
"Sadiya! Gipit kaya ako ngayon." I said then rolled my eyes.
Pumasok ako sa restaurant at umorder na. Pagkaupo ko ay sakto naman pumasok sina Kuya Pablo, I waved at them pero hindi nila ako nakita.
I'll just call them later, I need to get to my doctor. After eating ay nakita ko ang lalake kanina, he was smiling at me pero hindi ko siya pinapansin.
Lumapit ako sa counter para mag-bayad nang bigla siyang sumingit at bayaran ang kinain ko.
"Excuse me, I don't need a guy paying for what I eat, hindi ako palamunin." Mataray na sagot ko. Wala ka talagang preno kahit kailan, Krista.
"Sabi mo kanina diba, gipit ka. Binabawi ko lang naman ang aksidente na nagawa ko eh." Sagot nito. This guy!
"Woah, what's the problem?"
"Stell, sinusungitan ako ng babae. Tell her na I'm really sorry about her car." Sabi nung guy kanina.
"At sa akin mo ipapasa ang paghingi ng tawad? No way, may ginawa ka na naman ano?"
"If you really want to make it up to me then drive me to my next destination. Hassle naman mag-commute ngayon."
"Naks Justin Driver era." Sabi nung lalake sa counter. "Miss Krista, have a nice day."
"Thank you." Matamis akong ngumiti dun kay Stell pero dito sa Justin na ito, wala! "Ate Jana, I'll be going now."
"Oh, kasama mo si Justin?" Tanong ni Kuya Pablo. "Ingatan mo si Krista, her heart is in a critical state.
Nagulat na napalingon sa akin si Justin pero umiwas ako ng tingin. We went to his car at tahimik kaming pumunta sa hospital ko. I told him to leave pero I was surprised na inintay niya ako hanggang sa matapos ang appointment ko.
"Ms. Alonzo, you do know that you will survive the operation but it will add more complications to your health."
"What if I don't do the operation?" I asked.
"You will still have complications pero it will worsen if you do not do the operation. The only advice I can give you is rest and decide carefully."
"Thank you, Doctor Romualdez." Sabi ko at umalis na. "Anong ginagawa mo dito?"
"Hinintay kita. Naaawa kasi ako baka hassle pa rin ang pag-commute mo kaya ako na ang bahala sa'yo."
I had no strength to argue so I just agreed. He was very talkative, I guess he's comfortable now.
"Dito na lang ako."
"Sure ka?" He asked.
"Yes. Thank you."
