Chapter five

"Hey what happened?" Olivia says walking up to her mom and brother and some man towing out the boat
"Your brother is what happened" their mother says sternly

Olivia gazes at topper who has an annoyed expression on his face, she couldn't help but feel bad for her brother because she knew that whatever had happened that it more then likely wasn't his fault, he loved that boat and wouldn't jeopardise anything happening to it.

The man was talking about how much it was gonna cost and that boats like that don't usually sink and blah blah.

"The plug wasn't in it" the man says
Dr Thortons face immediately snaps to Topper who stands there frustrated about his new boat.
"Why are you looking at me" he says upset that his mom thinks it was him.
"Why do you think?" She snaps back.
"I did not forget to put the plug in mom, alright, it's been sitting in the water for a week" he defends
"Yeah that is true mom I've been with him most days and he hasn't gone on it" Olivia protests trying to defend her brother
"Olivia please stay out of this" their mom gives her a quick look and then snaps back to topper
"You know I thought that when you turned sixteen you would take a little more responsibility for your actions"
"Mom I did not do this, do you think I'm that stupid? Why is this my fault?" Topper snaps back at his mom
"Because it usually is" she says with a hateful glare
And with that topper stormed off down the dock, Olivia following close behind
"Top, Top wait" she called after her brother
"Who the hell could have done this" she exclaims to him catching her breath as he came to a holt.
"Well I have a bit of an idea of who it could be"

Topper then explained to Olivia everything that happened at the golf course and how Rafe lost his temper and that they think it was Pope who sunk it

"Oh my god you guys are fucking psychos" Olivia explained standing in the gym with the three boys throwing her hands in the air.
"The poor kid, no wonder he sunk your boat" she was mad, mad about the whole stupid pogues versus kooks thing. She never had a problem with the pogues, other then that one time they held a gun to her brothers head, but other then that they were very sweet.

"You know the whole pogues versus kooks thing is so stupid, you guys really need to stop your shit" she said with an annoyed expression on her face, all the boys just stood listening to her rant.

"Come on Mae, you know how they are, remember when JJ held a gun to your brothers head?"
She just rolled her eyes and looked down
"Yeah I know" she sighed, she knew neither of them were in the right but the kooks definitely stirred the pot a lot more.

"Whatever I'll see you guys later" and with that she stormed out the gym

"Wow I've never seen her mad before, kinda hot" Rafe said smirking up at Topper
"Dude, shut up that's my sister" Topper snapped back annoyed
"Just saying" Rafe added with a wink.

A few hours had passed and they all made their way to the outdoor movie theatre. It was just Rafe, Topper, Kelce and Olivia. Sarah was out of town somewhere and Hannah didn't feel like going.

They all set their chairs down began watching the movie
"I'm gonna get something to drink" Olivia said to the boys still a bit annoyed with the stunt they pulled on the pogues
She made her way to the drinks and snacks stand waiting in line

"Mae wait up" Rafe came running towards her
"I wanted to talk to you" he said looking down at her
"Look rafe if it's about the other night I'm sorry it was stupid and I would really like if we could just forget about it" she said in a bit of a stern tone.

He just looked at her, scanning over her features and how serious she seemed, he didn't want to push it so he just nodded, slightly hurt by how she was being with the whole situation, but just accepted it.
