"Gosh, did you read my mind ?" I frowned
"Oh please, you're easy to read Joshua" she giggled
"You can ask anything that you want y'know. I don't really mind if it's you" she smiles
My heart skipped a beat
"It is a bit sensitive but, where's your husband ?" I asked carefully
She tilted her head in confusion
"Husband ?" she asked me back
"Don't you have one ?? I mean, you've had Julia, of course you've had one right ??" I responded
She was frowning, still processing whatever I've just asked her
"Joshua, I've never gotten married, so what do you mean by husband ???" she said in confusion
"So you've had Julia because of a one night stand or what ?" I asked as I was also in confusion
"Ew what ? Fyi I'm not a cheap woman ! Apologize !" she crossed her arms
"Yes, yes I'm sorry but how did you get pregnant then ?? An accident ??" I asked
