Unknown POV

"The Silverton girl is acting strangely?" I asked my shadow guards, who had just returned from spying on the golden-eyed princess. Rumors said she had changed drastically.

Well, even with my keen eye, I could see that she had indeed changed.

"Yes, My Lord, and it seems that she possesses the key," one of them told me. My brows twitched at his sudden words.

The Key?

"You can finally have the Goddess's full magic," he finished, and I smiled faintly.

I looked at the crystal ball on my table, which showed the youngest lady of the Grand Duke Silverton, looking exactly like the Grand Duchess.

"How can you be sure that Veronica left her the key?" I asked him, as he stood still before me.

"Her aura is much different from other family members, and much stronger, like that of the Late Grand Duchess," he explained, and I smiled faintly.

"It's a shame that Veronica died before we could track her down, but it seems she left something with her granddaughter, who is obviously nothing like her," I murmured with a smirk.

"But My Lord, you need to be quick. I've heard that Emperor Juvanes is trying to take her eyes for eternal life, and that's likely where the key is hidden," he reminded me, and I smirked.

"That emperor is no match for me, but I suppose you're right... it's time for a visit to that empire," I said, glancing at the young Silverton, who was having a rough time at a tea party.

Back to Alyssa's POV

Ellie had the highest probability of being Virgo.
Adding the hint that Marchioness Chloe gave me, all signs pointed to her.

But before I could ask about it, Grandfather suddenly summoned me.

What great luck. As I walked towards Grandfather's private residence on the estate, I yawned slightly, still sleepy since Grandfather had called for me so early. Upon entering the main door, I was greeted by the same silent maid, whom I'd only spoken to once before, during my first visit.

"Welcome, My Lady," she said.

I froze, surprised to hear her voice. I turned to look at her, and she bowed her head. I blinked in confusion. Had she been possessed or something?

"Ahh yes, is Grandfather waiting?" I asked her, and she raised her head to look at me.

No offense to Alyssa, but she was incredibly short. I was much taller than her in my past life.

"Yes, My Lady. He has important things to tell you, and I suggest you make haste," she said, and I blinked a few times before awkwardly smiling.

"Ah yes, I must be going now. Thank you," I said, quickly rushing towards Grandfather's living room. I knocked three times before being told to enter.

Inside, I saw Grandfather talking to someone... I couldn't see her face since she was facing him.

But I recognized the hair... purple hair...

Virgo...

"Grandfather..." I called out, and both of them turned to look at me. My eyes widened as I saw the woman, who also had purple eyes.

It was confirmed...

She was Virgo...

But, I thought Ellie was Virgo. If she wasn't, then who was?

"Alyssa, come and sit. I presume you already recognize her," Grandfather said, and I sat beside him, with her in front of me.

There was no doubt she was as elegant as a gem.

"But Grandfather, I thought Ellie was Virgo," I asked him. Before Grandfather could answer, I heard a soft laugh from Virgo. I turned to face her.

"You're not wrong, Lady Alyssa. I used Aries's identity since she wasn't familiar with being a lady's maid, but I'm quite happy that you considered it," she told me, and my eyes widened.

"Then you—"

"Yes, I've been with you ever since I arrived at your doorstep," she said, and I was still shocked by the sudden revelation.

"But shouldn't I have found you? Figured you out first? Why are you revealing yourself here and now?" I asked her.

"Yes, that may be the case, but we've encountered a greater problem that will soon be upon us, as Leo told you last night," she said, and my eyes widened.

Marchioness Chloe was Leo?

"But can I ask? Shouldn't you be the only noble among the Zodiacs?" I asked her, and she gave me a small smile. "Yes, I was the Marchioness, but because of my work, Leo took over that role for me," she explained, and I nodded.

"Then, to continue with our problem, Lady Alyssa... it's time for you to inherit the legacy that Master Veronica left," she explained, and I nodded.

"Since there will be danger in the future, we need you to command us," she added, and I nodded again.

"I'm sure you're ready, and Scorpio has been cranky about having to take care of the legacy ever since our master's death," she added.

"What should I inherit?" I asked her, and she gave me a faint smile.

"Moonlight, Lady Alyssa... you are now the new owner of Moonlight."
