Chapter 11: Her Desperation

Third Person's Point Of View.

After a week of looking for Laze, Yeon and Yuno are very distant. Not until one day that the both needed to be together to look for Laze.

They didn't want to talk with each other but ended up talking as Yeon tried to confront Yuno. "What are you, Yuno?"

"What kind of man are you? A jerk or just someone who can't lose both?" Yuno's brows were furrowed but Yeon didn't bat an eye.

He stared at Yuno. "Do you like my girlfriend?" On Yuno's rebat, Yeon plastered a smile on his lips.

"Maybe? Maybe I could take her away from you since you're just hurting that woman's innocent heart. Dumbass." Yeon chuckled, sarcastically.

"Take her away from me? I don't think you can." Yuno placed his arms on Yeon's shoulder and pulled Yeon closer.

"Don't you even try, because you really can't snatch my woman." Yeon didn't know if it was a threat but he sighed after Yuno left.

"What a possessive fucking jerk." Yeon whispered and glanced at the team who's about to dive to look for Laze.

In the middle of the operation for finding Laze, Yeon glanced at his phone that keeps on ringing and vibrating because of Azi.

Yeon checked the last message Azi sent.

From Azi:

    Lolo is mad. I can't make any more excuses. He'll figure out that you were out there with Sierah and he'll be mad.

Yeon sighed and cupped his face. Frustrated and feeling suffocated by his grandfather, he heard footsteps so he glanced and saw Sierah who's staring at the calm sea.

He felt pity yet he walked near Sierah, "Dumb, you just woke up?"

He noticed her eyes that had a hint of crying from last night, "Yup, aga mo mambwisit."

"You look ugly, why don't we swim with your friends? Fish-eyed." He teased that amde Sierah laugh and smack Yeon's shoulder.

"Gago mo talaga 'no? Alis nga ilaglag kita diyan." Sierah replied.

Yeon just chuckled after teasing Sierah, they both watched the team that operates in finding Laze.

Sierah's Point Of View.

Ilang linggo na rin kaming naghahanap at kailangan na namin bumalik sa city dahil nag-aaral kami, "Sabay na tayo bumalik sa city, Yuno." Anyaya ko habang nasa hotel room niya ako.

"Huh?" Napatigil siya at nilingon ako.

"Sabay na tayo bumalik." Pag-uulit ko, nangunot ang noo niya at tumigil sa pagbabasa ng isang libro.

"Mauna ka na Sierah. Tutulong pa sana ako sa paghahanap kay Laze." Napatitig ako sa kaniya sa sinabi niya bakit parang hindi lang 'yon ang dahilan?

"Babalik rin si Yamato, Yuno. Hindi ka pa ba sasabay?" Pag-uulit ko.

Tumikhim siya, "I'll stay and help them look for Laze. Wala naman akong pasok, Sie." Huminga ako ng malalim at tumango.

Wala naman akong magagawa. "Call me everyday, okay?" Malambing na sabi ko at naupo sa tabi niya.

"I will."

Dahil doon ay kasabay ko umuwi si Yeon at Yamato. Nagpaiwan si Yuno at wala akong magagawa dahil doon.

Bumalik kami sa city, nag-aral lang ako dahil kailangan tumaas ng grado ko. Hanggang sa may hindi talaga ako maintindihan ay pinili kong pumunta sa condo ni Yeon.
