You fix your afro in the vanity mirror for what seemed like the hundredth time tonight. Wiping your sweaty hands on your black jeans, you sigh. You've never been so nervous to perform on stage before. You weren't even this nervous when you first started performing on stage during the beginning of your music career.

You were so nervous because tonight you were performing in front of your fiance, Kenya, for the first time. You've performed for her in the living room of your shared house, and sometimes you would playfully perform for her in public, but you've never done a full live concert in front of her before. You wanted this show to be more than perfect, as you were not only performing songs that you've put out, but you were also performing a song that you've been working on for a while now, probably since the first time you laid eyes on Kenya. You wanted to make this night special for her, and make it one that she would never forget.

"Y/n, you're on in five." Your stage director told you. You nod your head with a sigh. You take one last sip of your water before leaving your dressing room to get mic'd up.

"You look nervous." Your friend chuckled. You nodded her head and played with one of the twists in your afro, "I am...she's never heard the song I'm about to perform before. I'm praying that she likes it. It would be embarrassing if she doesn't."

"I'm sure she'll love it, man. It's the song you showed me the other night, right?" You nodded your head. Your friend smiled, "yeah, she's going to love that shit." You smile and give your friend a small hug, "thanks, man." "Anytime, sis."

"Before we start the actual concert, I want to sing a song for a special someone in the front row...you all may know her as my fiancé or of course, Kenya Moore." You say into the microphone. The crowd went bonkers at the mention of Kenya's name. You look down and smile, feeling the heat rushing to your cheeks.

"Yeah, uhm, so this song that I wrote since like-the first month we've been dating is dedicated to her. This song is called 'Until I Found You' (originally written by Stephen Sanchez). Hope you guys enjoy it."

You begin to play the piano and sing. Your audience put their phone flashlights on and slowly swayed their arms left to right. Kenya watched with a huge smile on her face. Loving every word that you sang. She loved how lovey dovey you were. She was definitely going to keep this memory in her mind forever.

Once you were done, the crowd went wild. Kenya asked your stage bodyguards if she could give you a special thank you on stage. The bodyguards agreed and helped her on stage. She ran to you and gave you a giant hug, completely surprising you and your fans.

"Thank you so much, I loved it!" She whispered in your ear. The two of you shared a quick, yet passionate kiss before the bodyguards helped Kenya back off the stage and into the front seat so she could watch the rest of the show.
