"TALK ABOUT MY WIFE AGAIN AND I WILL KILL YOU!" Kenya yelled as y/n tried to hold her back. She had her black heel in her hand, ready to throw it at any time possible, but she knew that she would have a bad aim with y/n holding her back like this.

Y/n sighed in relief when the person who said something rude about her being intersex was finally out of sight. She moved from in front of Kenya who was currently fuming. "Why'd you let him go, huh? I should've killed him and his bitch ass wife!" Kenya yelled, lightly pushing y/n. Y/n ignored the push that Kenya gave her and hugged her as she cried out of anger. Kenya hated when people would talk about her wife. She didn't understand why people couldn't just leave her alone.

Y/n didn't mind all that much. She just shrugged it off and went on with her day. Them criticizing her about being intersex doesn't change anything, and she came to terms with that. When people bullied her, she no longer felt hurt. She felt powerful that she could shrug those mean comments off.

"Baby, I'm okay. It's not like they put their hands on me or anything. If anything, I should be the one getting upset, not you." Y/n chuckled as Kenya pulled away from the hug.

"You're too nice, y/n." Kenya sniffed as she wiped away her tears, "you can't just let anyone say what they want to say about you and let them walk off! Then people will think it's okay-"

"Kenya, I could care less about what anyone has to say about me, as long as you stay then I'll be fine." Y/n smiled. Kenya smiled back and stood on her tippy toes to give y/n a kiss. "I love you. Let's go home now." Y/n nodded her head in agreement and led Kenya to the car.

It was currently the night after the Grammys and everyone was in Rhoda to celebrate y/n's success in winning some major Grammys. Y/n was a very famous singer/songwriter. This was her first time winning more than one Grammy and everyone was very happy for her.

They were currently at dinner and it was obvious that there was heat between everyone. It was y/n's special day and she didn't want everyone to be upset with each other so she decided to start some harmless conversation.

"So uhm, the chicken is really good." Y/n smiled as she took a bite of her chicken. Everyone nodded and hummed in agreement. "Yes, very good. So y/n, your new song is great. What was it inspired by?" One of the husbands asked. Another husband nudged his shoulder, "man, you already know the answer to that."

"Maybe he was inspired by someone or something else." The husband shrugged. Kenya abruptly stood up from her chair, "did you just call my girlfriend a he?"

"That is what he is, right? I mean, he has a dick, right?"

"Y/n is intersex, which means she is a girl with a penis. Get it right." Kenya angrily explained.

"Baby, it's fine. It was just a misunderstanding."

"Y/n-"

"Kenya, let's go." Y/n stood up and linked her arm with Kenya's before escorting her away from the dinner. Sheree sat back in her chair with widened eyes, "instead of 'we don't talk about Bruno' its 'we don't talk about y/n.'"
